RE: F. Raymond Hammond
I appreciate your willingness to help. If I'm correct Ray married Lillian Hoffman in Kitsap Co, WA on April 2, 1938, & Muriel Frolich in Kitsap Co, WA on Feb. 28, 1946. Is this what you show?

Elsie's ashes were scattered, so she doesn't have a final resting place. Do you know where Jack Moffett is buried?

Hi Chad,
I enjoyed your bio. :-)

I'm related to Ray through marriage. His first wife, Elsie, was my husband's aunt. I have occasionally been in contact with his daughter by this marriage and plan to add more information to his memorial. Are you connected to him through one of his other two wives?

I did say sometimes the scans I have were hard to read. So... oops? :)

Thanks so much for the great photos. Now you have opened a mystery for me to solve. I have no idea who those Miller folks are, as they are not in my family tree!

RE: Laurence
building retaining wall as part of the prep for an addition to the house. Needed a place for all the dirt coming out for the foundation and we have a low side to the yard so I built it up and have been moving soil.

Not related...but as a historian I'm in charge of all of the veterans of 19th century wars who once lived in Calaveras County...James was Pvt., Co. I, 3rd California Infantry ("McClellan Guards"), October 1861-October 1864/Co. H, 8th California Infantry, December 1864-October 1865...I try to document and track down the final resting places (with photos if possible) of all of our veterans of the Civil War, Mexican War, and Spanish-American War, so that they are not forgotten.
