|I have explored the history of my family for more than twenty five years. I am fortunate that my grandparents saved pictures, shared many stories and had an appreciation for the past. Credit also goes to Great Aunt Lucile for getting me started on serious research. It is a treasure hunt that never ends!|
I will be happy to transfer family members to you, if they are not a family member of mine.
April, 2012-- I have completed the addition to Find A Grave, all graves not already listed for Rice Cemetery, Dade County, Missouri, based on the roster from 1974. I have added some that were overlooked in the roster, or were buried later. I tried to find information about every person, and hope I have made a meaningful tribute to each of them.
Winter, 2012-- Cousin Roberta McReynolds and I have completed the addition to Find A Grave, all graves not already listed for Long Cemetery, Dade County, Missouri. Roberta also searched Missouri Death Certificates to document burials without gravestones. We believe we have photographed and added all stones with names on them to Find A Grave memorials.
Summer, 2014-- Cousin Roberta and I are close to completion of grave photographs for Shiloh Cemetery, Dade County, MO.

Thank you for pointing out the correct cemetery, I have moved the 4 memorials to the correct cemetery.

Well, as you said, I am new to all of this...and I'm not really sure exactly what is involved in being a caretaker...but I would be happy to take over the Witherspoons in Shiloh Cemetery: John, John Younger, Malinda J. and Mary E. My great-grandfather is James Lee...but it doesn't appear that you created that one. Also, I would like to thank you for posting these memorials. I had looked before and didn't find anything, so when I found them the other day I was thrilled. It has been a tremendous help in my research!!

The Dade County Missouri probate records on Family Search include the will of E H Clark, which was written on 29 December 1893. His sole heir mentioned in the will is his wife Elizabeth J. Clark. E. H. Clark leaves his wife his house and lot in Dadeville, Mo, and the lot is fully described. The short version is "Situated in and being part of the NW ¼ of SE ¼ of Section 28, Town 32 Range 25." The will was presented in Dade County, MO on 2 April 1894, so he died shortly before that.
