Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native Texan, born and reared in Northeast Texas. I have been researching my families for about thirty years, making me the family historian.
I have spent weeks, days, and hours in many states researching the courthouses and walking the cemeteries looking for my family.
Just recently I began placing memorials to my family members on findagrave; a wonderful website. The majority of my postings are my family.
I try to acquire photographs of my relatives; this makes me feel as if I actually know them.
I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and genealogy is my passion.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

RE: William Monroe Stewart, Sr.
My Grandmother was Mittie Ellen (Stewart) Ware b:Aug. 24, 1907 in Chestnut Ridge, Mo. d:Oct. 19, 1983 in Miami, Ok. she married Clayton Robert Ware. Her parents were Isiah Bud Stewart and Emma May Brookshire, I have some information but I am not sure if it is correct. So, I guess anything that you have other than what I have posted would be a great help. Most of the family that I knew are now gone so its not easy finding anyone that has any information. I do appreciate your responding back and willingness to help.

William Monroe Stewart, Sr.
Hello, My name is Karen, William Stewart was my 3rd great grandfather. I have been working on a family tree off and on for a while. I have recently gotten the bug to start it again and hopefully fill in some gaps. I was hoping you may be able to answer a few questions for me as I have come to a huge point of confusion. If you have the time I would really appreciate it. Thank you for all that you do for Find a Grave. It is awesome to be able to find all our loved ones. Karen
