Hi Charline, Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention, but now... "no good deed goes unpunished" - I need advice.
I found an obituary for a J. M. Carlisle that didn't name family members. It stated that he was buried at Mt. Olive. I couldn't locate a J. M. Carlisle interred at anything close to that cemetery name. So with great difficulty, I convinced the MS State Board of Health to send his Death Certificate to me. It is undoubtably James "Mack" Carlisle (correct spouse & parents listed on the certificate). However, the death certificate shows the dates I listed on the Memorial, not the dates listed on the stone. I never noticed the discrepancy.
In your experience, what caused the discrepancy and what should I do about it with regard to the findagrave Memorial? Any input would be greatly appreciated. ~ MicheleAdded by Chelie on May 04, 2013 9:42 PM | | | Lisa May

I want to thank you for taking the photo of Marcus Quinn, my Great Uncle. I live in Jackson MS & come to Brookhaven, MS often since I have many relatives there.
I am doing research to determine his birth & death dates & hopefully can post them soon.
