Bio and Links
Bio Photo I belong to the Lower Wisconsin River Genealogical and Historical Research Center(LWR) out of Wauzeka, WI,(see website link below).
I have always been a graver and I have walked countless cemeteries and have studied the subject for decades. My cemetery interests started when I was maybe 8 years old if not before. I am now in my 60s and live in southwest Wisconsin.
My files are constantly growing and the work continues. I am also big into local history where I live. I will do additions, corrections, link ups and transfers upon request, but PLEASE provide memorial numbers for such services and use the EDIT tab on the memorials for such requests.

The only truly dead are those who have been forgotten.

Wisc. Civil War Vets. grave photo's
I am a Vermont Civil war buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had roots/ties in Vermont. May i use the photo's that you have contributed to such soldiers, to post on the Vt. c.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Carroll H. Russell was my father's older brother and was killed in a haying accident when he was just a boy, witnessed by my father. I know he doesn't exactly fit the rules as family, but I would like to request a transfer because of the circumstances now that my father's memorial has been transferred to me. Thank you for taking care of him. Sherry

I know there is already a photo on this memorial. If you read my request, you will see that the reason I requested another photo is because the angle the present photo was taken from makes the stone completely illegible due to the light glare. Please look again and you will see what I mean. I would like a photo that is taken in a more shady "mode" so I can read what's on the headstone. Thanks!
