|Vicki Masters Profitt||Rachel Perrin|
I'm happy to transfer Rachel's memorial to a relative. I know it will be in good hands!
The Perrins are a big family in Fairport, New York. If you have information about the Fairport/Pittsford Perrin family that you can share, I'd love to include it in the archives of the Fairport Historical Museum.
I also have the lineage all done to Jesse as my one cousin Maxine had done it years ago. Before she died she too was a DAR to Jesse..
Jesse is my 5th Great grandfather, his daughter Mary married my Jackway, I've worked very hard with my drake and jackways and just haven't done allot on my Perrins yet, but getting there. If you'd like to ad anything, I'll put it in his bio.
Your transfer request has been completed.

I have the original cemetery records of Mt. Auburn in Excel format. They are, however, very sketchy. The cemetery, located across the street from Topeka Cemetery, was primarily for the Black community in Topeka. It fell into disrepair and, in fact, the owner absconded with all of the funds several decades ago. They City of Topeka took over the cemetery. If there was a 'father' marker nearby I would have photographed that also. That's the good news.
The bad news is that, although I photographed Annie Brown's plot when I walked the entire cemetery to document everything in 2012, her name does not show up in the records. There are hundreds of Browns and I would be glad to share the 'Brown' part of the spreadsheet with you if you contact me at email@example.com.
Mr. Henderson is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, about a mile from my house, and you can reach the office for further information at 785-272-1122. I checked the Mt. Auburn records and there are many Hendersons there but none that would match the dates you mentioned.
Let me know if I can help you in your search.

You requested an inscription found on stone. Stone is hard to read but there is no inscription. His name is found at top of stone, then there is a floral type scroll pattern, then birth date, cross, then death date. The family name stone found to the left of his smaller name stone has only the name Ames. Should be noted that on the back of this bigger family name stone is the name Bernard Grutterman 1838-1915. No other markings found on stone. The name Ames faces east, the name Grutterman faces west. Same stone.

Ok...I'm not sure I am related to this line. We don't know for sure what the name of my 4th great grandfather is. All we know is that Great Grandpa Gershom (3rd great grandfather Lewis) said he came from Wales. However, we believe it to be David as in 1830 Gershom and Hannah closest neighbor was David Lewis who was the right age to be his father.
I was chasing down the line when I came across the memorial for Eunice. Thanks
