Orville Lewis Embree
Thank you so much for the photo of the plaque with Orville Embree's name (#41525651) at the Elk City Cemetery. I appreciate the additional info about the cemetery being overgrown and markers that are no longer visible. Such a shame, but I guess it's good there is a memorial plaque! I wish I lived closer and could organize a cemetery clean-up event. Unfortunately, I am out of state. Thank you for your time and effort in obtaining this photo and information. I really appreciate it!

Mary Barber grave photo
Thank you very much for the photo and your efforts.

Concerning the run-down nature of the cemetery, you might try contacting an organization such as Saving Graves (http://www.savinggraves.net/index.php/oregon/40-endangered-oregon-cemeteries) or the Lincoln County Historical Society (http://oregoncoasthistory.org/) to see if there is any such effort in the works already.

Thanks again!

Memorial Day Transfers
Hello,

Thank you for your Memorial Day transfers of the Fountain family to the Old Bristol Historical Society. We appreciate the care and respect shown our ancestors. As the internet representative for the society I extend our most sincere thanks for your work.

Kay Sawyer Hannah, as Co-President of the society,
is in charge of our Quadricentennial and
Sestercentennial Project to link family memorials
throughout the town and beyond, which is explained on our website:

http://oldbristolhistoricalsociety.wordpress.com/sestercentennial/

Thank you for making Find-A-Grave a success.
Respectfully,
Paul D. Ring

Family History help
I am doing some family history Work and noticed that you had submitted information on the Weiler Family. Well they are related to me three generations back from me. Beverly A Reaksecker married Samuel Paul Weiler. What I asking is if you have any information on them would you be willing to email me what you have? Thanks for your help in advance.

WOW....it looks like, from the photos, that the monument had been in a state of disrepair....and your photo from last year shows it back upright....very nice indeed....makes my heart happy
