"I will show you fear in a handful of dust." T.S. Eliot|
We are not so much afraid of dying, as we are of no one remembering we existed at all.
We only walk this earth because of the people before us. Every name is a memory to a life, not just a branch in a tree. Sometimes all that echoes through time is a name, a date, a relationship, a headstone. But bringing those things together here is remembering the person who lived, and I am proud to be a part of this community of volunteers who spend their free time to send the message "you have not been forgotten"
Still active as of November 2014. If you have any information to add to any memorials I have created please let me know but use the EDIT- SUGGEST A CORRECTION feature. Please also use this feature when inquiring about a specific memorial, the comments section below is not helpful in directing me with a link to see what you are talking about.
PROCESSING EDITS: I know about the feature, but I don't blindly click all. Have patience, I will get to it, but I do check- I will also look for an obituary for you if its here in Oregon. So have patience, check back when you get the email, it might be worth a look.
DO YOU KNOW? Find A Grave will automatically process all untouched edits after 3 weeks. Yep. that contributor who's been ignoring your requests for years didn't just finally get with the program.
DO YOU KNOW? if you mess up a submission you can go to your own edits page, use the drop down menu to find edits you have submitted, find the edit you did and delete and redo if it hasn't been processed. Pretty Nifty if you ask me. Edits on Find A Grave are finally happening and they have fixed some of the flaws from the initial launch.
PHOTOS: I took the photo to help you! If you would like any of the photos I have taken for your own family tree, you are welcome to them. If its a family photo I added though, please contact me! I don't mind sharing, I have a public tree on ancestry.com that I will give you directions to for more photos (if I have them). Our ancestors should be remembered by all who want to preserve a piece of who they were. My collection is the work of many who believed in saving photos of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents they never knew and then taking the time to share them with me. As we pass through this world, I feel better knowing my ancestors wont disappear and pictures forgotten if multiple people from all over have the key.

|@ngel||RE: Ida Camp|
You are very welcome for the info for Ida Uffner Camp. I was hoping to hear from you. I had lost the info for Miss Ida's request and I wasn't sure who to contact. While searching for her and finding that she is buried with her father and mother, I also found a couple others who also do not have headstones or markers in the lot. I wanted to make sure that you were aware of these other persons. Infant Camp, who passed between 1899-1910 and Joseph Camp who passed between 1910-1919. Alison Loar at Cedar Hill may be able to give you more info on them. I did not make either of them a Find A Grave memorial in case you would rather do that, but I can if you prefer, just let me know.
Many Thanks--@ngel #47774099

Awesome! Today was my first time out there as an adult. I was looking for my Linn side and literally stumbled upon my step moms side too. I should probably set up a tent, I would be in hog heaven.
I have to get my own shots of family members that even already have photos because of copyright laws. What a beautiful cemetery.
|Jill and Julie||RE: Kohl's|
Wow, it is so amazing that you have so many of the relations! Its awesome to be able to find them because of the work you do! Thank you so very much.

Hey Erin! You have transferred some of my relatives of the Linn family. I see now you have Ed and Rita Kohl? Are we related?

|Sharil Van Cleave||Benjamin Franklin Mitchell Family|
I was just wondering if you had created the memorials for Benjamin Franklin Mitchell and his family because you documented the cemetery or because you might be related in some way. I am a descendant of his wife Effie, through his step-daughter Hester.
My dad's cousin sent a snapshot of the family taken in 1913. I uploaded to these memorials. Hoping someone else has better pictures of them they are willing to share. If so, I will remove the snapshots to make room for better photos.
|Dave Davenport||RE: my photo request|
Sorry Erin. Not picking on you or yelling at you. Just tying to reduce the number of open requests where nothing seems to be happening. I'll make a note to myself not to bother you again. I hope someone picks up your request. There are a lot of good folks in Prescott. You might want to contact Valene at the LDS Family History Center across the street from the cemetery. email@example.com 1-928-778-2311. She may be able to fill your request.

Thank you for the transfer!
I looked in my database and found about 18 Westfall names, but I looked at who you had in your memorials and I did not see any matching names. BUT that doesn't mean there were not some marriages. Really weird that their markers are the same.
Thanks for your help!!
