Bio and Links
Bio Photo CHANGES: Suggest a correction, please! If I duped it, I'll delete it. If you have more info, I'll add it. If I typed something wrong, I'll fix it. I DO NOT KNOWINGLY CREATE DUPES, but I'm human and make mistakes. Although this site asks you not to send too many changes per week, please feel free to send as many as you find. I'm in it for accurate information.

PET PEEVE: Others who input info & don't double check it making it impossible for me to match the photos I've taken. Therefore I create a correct memorial with photo & they come back & say mine's a "dupe" even though theirs was jacked up info :( UGH!!!!! If you DON'T TRY to put something in correctly, don't put ANYTHING in at all or at least have the decency to remove your botched memorial & don't ask the correct one to be removed & the photo be transferred to their corrected memorial. Accuracy is important here - NOT the amount of memorials you can input from bad information & typing skills.

TRANSFERS: If it's your relative or friend (and not my direct line :-), I'll transfer it! Just use the edit request on the memorial and include your Find A Grave member number with your request.

PHOTOS: Permission is granted for others to use photos that I have posted on for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you have a better photo than mine, let me know & I'll delete mine. Things happen & the photo I took might have looked fine at the cemetery & not so fine when I got home :) IF my reflection is in a photo, please let me know so I get it corrected; contributions are in honor of those, who walked before us, no disrespect is intended whatsoever by my submissions to this website.

I hope everyone finds the ancestors & answers they're looking for & it makes my day to think I've helped in some way!!

There appears to be two stones for this person. However, the stone on this one has more information than the other one. That memorial is #54477395 in Providence, Webster, Ky. Lakeview Cemetery. I myself have run onto an ancestor or two who actually do have stones in two cemeteries (one by each husband). Thank you for your work. Kathyrn

Hi Lorna, I have come across so many memorials that you have created and wanted to thank you for all you do for Find A Grave. You have always been so helpful in responding to my inquiries about my ancestors memorials. It is people like you that has made Find A Grave the wonderful site that it is. Thanks again! ~ Cindy

Thank you, and again, I truly don't mean to come off as hateful, it's just been a rough few years without her. Thank you.

Yes, I understand why you do it. However, in my opinion, if you are going to do this type of thing, when posting, you could at least type a reiteration of the information the marker gives you. This way it would at least look like you appreciate the people whose graves you are taking pictures of, and show a bit more respect for the them and their grieving families. This is especially true for people who haven't even been passed a decade yet, and the wound is still very raw. I honestly can completely understand doing this type of research, and am grateful for it. However, I honestly would have never thought that there would be no time frame to which the graves would be put on here. There is a reason as to why the US Census does not become public until 72 years have passed. I will be looking up my other relatives on here, and I will hope that you will let me have them, if you are the one who posted them. Of course, if you covered all of Eastlawn Cemetery, then you will have posted them.

A Bit Shocked
Hello Lorna,
I was searching for a living family member when I came upon this site, because of a link to my Uncle Johnny's obit. I then seen the link to my Mother's page, which not only had a picture of the cemetery, but also her actual headstone. Being her only child, this does come as a bit of a shock that someone would randomly take a picture of my Mother's grave, post it on the internet, and do so without an attempt at contacting the family, or trying to trace down her obituary to type a few proper words about her. As the page stands, it is rather belittling to my Mother to reduce her to nothing but a mere picture of a head stone. Please either allow me to control this page, or please take down the page. I am thankful I found this before my father did. Please understand that I do not mean to sound hateful about this, but with where she is buried, I truly never believed I would ever need to address this. Here is her name and memorial number, as since I just joined this site due to this situation, I do not know my member number: Dianah Mae Epley Reynolds memorial# 97210223

Please Feel Free to e-mail me at:
