Bio and Links
Bio Photo A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added. I regret that I cannot thank each of you individually, although with the new Edit system you now get computer-generated acknowledgements that your suggested changes and/or additions have been accepted.

I got interested in Family History in 2007, and in 2008 and 2009 visited hundreds of my "dead relatives", as my wife so descriptively put it. (I did meet many live ones, too.) Most of the graves I visited were close relatives of my great-grandparents and a great-great-grandmother: their siblings, aunts and grand-aunts, uncles and grand-uncles, and first and second cousins. Most of them were in Western Pennsylvania and Central Ohio, with a few scattered across Iowa and Nebraska.

Feel free to use any of my grave marker photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic and/or commercial value which might be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution. (Please note, however, that this only applies to photos with my name under them. For any others, you will need to contact the person who added them for their permission to copy and use elsewhere.)

Stene Family
Thank You for photographing the section of graves where my ancestors live!! And thank you also for adding Ida and Andrew! Yes, Dorothy is Harold's wife and he is the son of Ida and Andrew. They are my great grandparents who raised my mother and are very dear to me. I really appreciate the service you have rendered to them and all of us. God bless!

Katherine 'Janet' Stene
Hi! Thanks for maintaining so many cemetery records!
I sent in an edit for my great aunt, Katherine Stene (Find A Grave Memorial# 91797782). Her middle name is not Janet, but is Jeanette. Will you please make that change to her Find A Grave memorial?
I can send you a copy of her Lutheran Church confirmation record if that will help lend credibility to this edit.
Katherine's parents are Andrew and Ida Stene, who are both buried in the cemetery section across the street from the one in which Katherine is buried. Their graves have very small headstones(they are buried with a son). They are located just off the alley right behind the Sexton's office or funeral home building by the main street.
I live in Utah and plan to go take photos some day. If there is someone who can add them to the Find A Grave site before then, that would be very helpful. Then I can add them as parents for Katherine.
If you need to contact me, my email is andie.duclos@gmail.com. Thanks!
Andrea

Burns - photo move
Just a heads up that I was able to complete the shift of my photo to the older listing for the Burns couple in Richland.

I do appreciate you bringing them to my attention so we could get the photos on the right pages!

God Bless,
Judy

RE: Oakmont-Verona Cemetery
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what "his page in the cemetery" means. I am in NY State.
I tried to contact the cemetery, but my letter was returned undeliverable.
