A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added. I regret that I cannot thank each of you individually, although with the new Edit system you now get computer-generated acknowledgements that your suggested changes and/or additions have been accepted.
I got interested in Family History in 2007, and in 2008 and 2009 visited hundreds of my "dead relatives", as my wife so descriptively put it. (I did meet many live ones, too.) Most of the graves I visited were close relatives of my great-grandparents and a great-great-grandmother: their siblings, aunts and grand-aunts, uncles and grand-uncles, and first and second cousins. Most of them were in Western Pennsylvania and Central Ohio, with a few scattered across Iowa and Nebraska.
Feel free to use any of my grave marker photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic and/or commercial value which might be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution. (Please note, however, that this only applies to photos with my name under them. For any others, you will need to contact the person who added them for their permission to copy and use elsewhere.)
help I wanted to know if there was a way to find living relatives of someone. My brother is buried in Louisiana and he has other brothers I would like to talk to. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
RE: Rebecca Mattison Thanks for replying. I will keep digging on this line. I don't think that this Job is the son of Allen Mattison. We are leaning towards the Job that is in the Stillman Village cemetery as he is near the rest of the family. The Job W. and Rebecca were from Rhode Island (Job) and Stonington, CT (Rebecca) according to the death record of their daughter Rebecca Morey from Pittstown, MA so Hopefully we can get more concrete info on these too individuals.
Wrong cemetery Hi. I have found that Stephen & Regina Groebner and George & Elizabeth Groebner are in Saint Clara Catholic Cemetery NOT Bethany Reformed. If you could move the memorials to the correct cemetery I can add the photos. Thanks Ron Keith
Mitchell Hammontree Thank you very much Rob, for transferring my great uncle's memorial to my care. It gladdens my heart to know the location of his final resting place. I appreciate the time that you and Kathy Wagner have put in on your project.
After searching for 3-4 years I have finally found the long lost final resting place of my grandmother's brother, Mitchell Hammontree. If you have no objections, would you transfer his memorial to my care for detailed updates? Find-a-grave memorial # is: 91788184.
