Thank you very much for your timely reply. Would you happen to have a copy of the newspaper article you can email to me please? I can't seem to find it that particular issue of the newspaper.

Thank you, David

Please tell me how you determined that "Sarah was married to Joshua Donegan/ Dunagen who died in Georgia on December 2, 1844, burial place unknown"?

Thank you David

What ?
findagrave is NOT an ancestry site. It is for finding (A)(1) dead person only. Anything beyond that may sometimes may be *speculation.

*conjectural consideration of a matter, conjecture or surmise: a report based on speculation rather than fact.

Now, go tell the teacher.

John McLaurin
My apologies but I mixed generations here with my suggestions. Satira Ringer Fuqua is the mother-in-law of John McLaurin here, not his wife. I believe all the other information I have added to this family is correct. Again, sorry for the extra trouble.

It will not let me correct the entry on john mclaurins page because it is listed as a calculated listing...i think you can remove it from Satira's page if you are the original contributor!

Thx Karen

Fabius Fuqua
Jan,

I was looking at your page for him and I saw this part " "a Mr. Toney from Alabama"".

I don't know if you know it or not but Silas Fuqua's wife was Sally Taney or Toney born 18 Sep 1797 in Madison, Alabama (other sources claim that her last name was Young). I think your Mr Toney is probably a relative of her's. Sally would be Fabius's aunt by marriage and also the mother of Galba Fuqua that was killed at the Alamo.

Also don't know if you know it or not but the Fuqua brothers; Silas, Benjamin and Ephram Fuqua all came to Texas from Alabama, even though they were originally from Bedford Co, Virginia. They brought with them a letter of introduction to Stephen F Austin (yes, THE Stephen F Austin) from a mutual friend in Town of Tuscumbia, Alabama that was dated 3 Jan 1828. Also their brother, Jacob Fuqua, had died in Alabama in 1825 so he did not accompany them when they left Alabama.
