|margaret||Dancy Family Cemetery|
??? Maud Floyd Dancy grave in St Johns County : ???
There is a Dancy family Graveyard in ORANGE County, Fl where her husband Ben Dancy is buried with his family. I do not not know if Maud is actually buried separately in St John's County or if she is really buried with the Dancy family in the Orange County Cemetery and there is an error.
Could you please check on this and make a correction OR if there is no mistake please make of NOTE on her record so that people in the future can tell that she IS buried separately from the Dancy Family.

Hi, I was reading your profile and recognized some of your family names as some of my own. John Fendin 1721-1758 was brother to Martha Fendin Edwards 1735-? who was my 7th great grandmother. Do you happen to have any information on her? I live overseas so it is a nightmare for me to do research. Thanks so much,

|Bob Bellamy||Benjamin Bellamy|
I wanted to let you know that the Benjamin Bellamy who married Fanny Wade was actually the son of Samuel Bellamy. There are numerous Benjamins in the overall tree and an internet propagation of errors that complicate matters... but the connection has been verified through the Bellamy DNA project on FTDNA and is documented within the book "The Bellamys of Early Virginia", by Joe David Bellamy. Benjamin's burial place isn't known... somewhere in Kentucky... possibly in an unmarked grave in Bellamy cemetery. Regards, Bob Bellamy

I am making applicaiton to the DAR through the Pitts line.
GFather Jesse Judson Pitts Died 1919
G Andrew Young Pitts 1856-1914
GG Adoniram Judson Pitts 1833-1916
GGG Cary Pitts 1797 - 1881

The only documentation I am missing is proving Cary is the son of John Henry Pitts.
Would appreciate anything you might have.
|Elizabeth Pitts||John Pitts 96466656|
Henry Pitts who m. Mary Bagnall (daughter of Nathan Bagnall) died before August 4, 1757 and their children were William, Thomas, Anne, Patience, Elizabeth b. bef 1757 and Henry, Jr. who married Juliana between 1747-1817. Juliana was the sister of Mary Bagnall. The father of John Pitts who married Hannah Belton was the Henry Pitts who died Dec 14, 1817 and was married to unknown Mary (thought to be Mary Dudgeon/Dugan from Newberry Co., SC but as yet no record has been found to prove who his spouse was and mother of his children. If you have information that this is incorrect, I would appreciate you contacting me as I am researching my husband's lineage and his relative is the Henry Pitts, son of the above Henry who died Dec 14, 1817. My husband's Henry married two daughters of Abner Pitts, Sr. who m.Mary Waldrop. Lib Pitts libsportal at att.net
I would like to talk to you about this Find A Grave memorial, I believe your information is incorrect. Henry Pitts who died Dec 1816 is my 4th ggrandfather. I don't know who his wife was, if you have some proof that could help me find her, or his parents, I would be ecstatic.
Looks like we might be cousins!

Thanks very much!

Some of the community members have gotten together to clean up the cemetery (finally). It's quite a mess after two plus years of letting nature take its course. If you have others you are interested in, please let me know, and as they clear the lots, I'll go back periodically and do what I can. Linda
