This is now the Jill and Julie show!|
Julie is a 4th generation Oregonian and related to two cemeteries, the Philip E Linn Pioneer Cemetery in Estacada, Oregon and the Chris-Zada Cemetery in Underwood, Washington.
Jill's family history is so well documented back 500 years, its almost scary.
Julie is the cemetery rat, Jill the documenter. Julie the camera bug, Jill the MAC photo genius.
We have been friends for over 25 years and that with 20 of them living in different states. Now we are both HOME in Oregon.
We are both only interested in documenation so if anyone wants to have memorials transferred to them, do not hesitate to ask. By that we mean that every stone or person be present and accounted for, one at a time. Totals do not interest us, credit does not interest us. Their stories, names, lives, families, that interests us. Just to be clear: DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK, BUT DO SO THROUGH THE EDIT SYSTEM!
Note to all the VOLUNTEERS in this wonderful place: LIGHTEN UP FOLKS!
UPDATE MARCH 12, 2015:
I WILL NOT EVER BE GOING BACK TO THE ROSE CITY CEMETERY. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE RUDEST PEOPLE IN ANY CEMETERY IN THIS AREA. IF ANYONE WANTS MEMORIALS FROM ROSE CITY, JUST ASK.
IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS MEMBER AND THEY ARE NOT MY FAMILY, I WILL TRANSFER HAPPILY.

Thank you so much for the transfer of grave entries. I certainly understand only having had one cup of coffee. *Grin* Take care and thank you so much for your contributions to Find-A-Grave. They are greatly appreciated.

In addition...I knew him personally, am from Peekskill, and knew his family and of his generosity and volunteer service to the homeless, and the unfortunate. He was spiritual being who spoke frequently in his church.

Thank you...I was having a snit- it felt like the memorial I made was hijacked, since I had asked for guidance and help in rewriting it in a Facebook group, and - instead the writer (a member of the group)deleted the bio I wrote and took full credit for her own version. I wasn't even sent as an edit or SAC.

Good afternoon Julie,
There is no need to apologize, it sounds as if you were very ill and definitely had an excuse. I hope that you are well now and enjoying the spring season. Thank you for sending the message, it is greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend.

Oh, wow! I had forgotten about this request. Thank you so much for transferring the memorial, even if it took 4 years.
Thank you so much for the transfer. I will be updating the memorial soon.

Hi Julie, please feel free to send as many edits as you like. I prefer above all else that the information be correct and Mt. View birth years were calculated by excel based on the age of the person at time of death from the year of death. So it can off a year. At the time it made more sense to give a sense of the age then just death dates from the cemetery records, it was a massive database upload. I am way behind anyway from my original goals and the system is just auto processing the ones people enter the last few months. I keep meaning to get back to it but I usually only have a few minutes anymore to address the emails. I can see what processed during my absence and I will go back and review at a later date to see if there is more I can add or correct because of bad information.

the birth years were estimates, I updated the memorials to reflect what is on the headstones

Sure, go ahead, thanks!
I was sorry to read that you had such a bad experience there. Donna
