Melissa Ann Kirk In 2009, you posted a photo of the family grave plot of Melissa Ann Kirk 36126285 in Masonic Cemetery in Heppner, Oregon. It shows 3 graves. Can you tell me who the other 2 graves are? She is not linked to any of her family members, so I don't know who the other 2 graves are. I assume one might be her husband Jesse James Kirk, but he has no memorial. And, is the third one a child of theirs? Thank you for your help.
I noticed in the memorial for Elijah "Lige" Bowling #65771624 that you show him marrying 3 times: 1). Susannah Roberts in 1819, 2). Mary Ann Cobb in 1843, and 3). Nancy Ann Bryant in 1859.
I've received an edit-suggestion from member RebeccaSue Daugherty asking me to link my memorial for Vina LuAnn Bowling Trammell to parents being this Elijah Bowling but with the mother being an Elizabeth (whom she has linked to Elijah in the spouse-link section). I found this a bit confusing because you aren't showing any wife named Elizabeth for Elijah. Vina was born in 1833 which fits in between wife #1 and wife #2, but I saw you said wife #1 didn't die until 1850. But I'm assuming she and Elijah must have been separated because otherwise she was also still living at the time of his marriage to wife #2 in 1843 (or, this would actually be wife #3 out of 4, if you agree Elizabeth should be the real wife #2).
Do you have any record of Elijah being married to an Elizabeth during the period to have fathered Vina in 1833?
Thanks very much for any light you can shed on this. Sincerely, John
Memorial #34976812 Hello Michele, I note that you have Samuel Allard & Mary Crompe marrying in Minnesota. I have a listing for the marriage of a Samuel Allard to a Marie M. Crompe on 30 Nov 1881 in Fall River, Massachusetts and my research suggests it is the same couple. Samuel's parents are Moses & Mary, Marie's parents are Thomas & Eliza. Contact me if you would like to see the document.
# 46455924 Minnie Pickett Minnie Frances Evans Pickett I was doing some research the other day and I see that the birth and death dates are good, however the location for birth and death are revered. I am not a relative, just trying to locate someone in Wyoming and I found this error. Keep up the great work.
Would you please consider transferring my cousin's memorial to me? V. Carr, Find A Grave Memorial# 35991908, was the infant sibling of my Uncle Raymond Carr, Find A Grave Memorial# 151879847. His family was living in Heppner, Oregon at the time of the 1903 Flood. V. Carr did not survive the flood and the family later moved to Yakima.
