Bio and Links
Bio Photo My grandmother was the first person to interest me in genealogy with all her old family photos and scrapbooks full of newspaper articles. I remember picking the peonies from her garden and then visiting the cemeteries to place them on gravestones.

This fern peony was grown and nurtured in Rosalie Haymond's garden. After her passing, the peony now has a place of honor in our garden. This peony is now placed on graves out of respect and in remembrance of our ancestors.

There is a special place in my heart for all the infants and children that are the only member/s of their family to be buried at a particular cemetery. Find a Grave is a wonderful way to reconnect these children with their parents and families.

As a way to give back and help other searching families, we walk small cemeteries and then add the names that aren't already on Find a Grave. I photograph all the stones and add the photos to the memorials that are missing photos.

If you are related, we would very much like to hear from you. If we have a memorial for one of your loved ones, please contact us by clicking the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial and then clicking the suggest a correction link to ask for a transfer. Let us know your connection.

Please use the edit tab to send any corrections or links you would like made to memorials in our care.

RE: Lodi Memorial Cemetery
I saw your request and looked for the stone. My husband and I probed the area and uncovered the marker ourselves. It saddens me that this cemetery is being neglected. I am happy to be able to photograph the marker and connect you with your family.

Thanks for the update. I had declined the edit for Samuel 1844-1924 link to Uriah. Despite the note that he WAS NOT the father, apparrently it was forwarded to admins and they added it. I have corrected it and some other things along with accepting your submitted edits. If you find any other problems, please don't hesitate to drop me a line!

RE: Twin Baby Girls Shacklett
There is no headstone just for the girls. The Longmont Genealogy Society list only "Baby girl" in their index.

I messed up and confused my notes... The requested photos have been uploaded.

Sorry for the confusion.
