I have been interested in the history of my ancestors & my husband's ancestors for many years and have visited many of their graves over the years. I enjoy doing research on family members as well as others. It makes me realize how short life really is and how we should leave a positive footprint here. But most of all, how important it is to be prepared to pass from his life in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.|
I also love my town of Kirksville, Missouri, and enjoy studying its history and the people who made its history. I feel privileged to be a member of the board called Friends of Forest-Llewelln Cemetery in Kirksville, and also a board member of the Adair County, Missouri, Historical Society.
Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to Ancestry.com or any other ancestral sites you wish as long as it is out of respect for the person represented. I hope you find some of your relatives!
I am happy to make any additions or corrections to memorials; just use the Edit tab and I will make the changes as soon as possible.

|D Giese||Wilson/Carson genealogy|
Do you know if there has been anything printed regarding the Wilson/Carson genealogy? I would really like to find out more about this family as Sarah Ann Wilson King is a direct ancestor to my husband. I thank you so much for what you have already put in the bio's about this family! I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hello,I'm thinking my husband's ggg grandmother is Annie Carson. Did their daughter, Sarah Ann Wilson 1855-1938 marry Albert Young King? I'm wondering if #53463305 is Sarah? You may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or answer on findagrave. Thank you.

I have a question and maybe you can help me out. John Reven Beatty, Find A Grave Memorial# 21978572, son of Virgil and Emma..can you tell me where he got his middle name of Reven from..I'm familiar with John and Elizabeth Reven who was in Missouri at that time and I'm trying to figure out how these Beatty's and Bailey's fit into my line back then. Any help would be greatly appreciated and have a nice day..Horace Reven

I actually had it on my computer. I had taken it a year ago to show to an old friend, whose maiden name was Pfaff and who was an only child of 2 only children. She often says her name is totally unique, so when I saw Jesse's stone, I knew I had to take the picture!
|EB Williams||RE: Kirk family|
Thanks for the in depth information about both families.... Interesting how paths cross for families with like names. Usually we learn that the names are not as uncommon as we originally thought.

You have done a beautiful job of telling the story of Jesse and John T Kirk. Please connect this part of the family to the Kirk Building and Kirk Memorial on the campus of Truman State University. I think that was John R Kirk but am sure that the special collections at the Pickler Library will have the information needed to give FindAGrave users "the rest of the story".

You're quite welcome. This site is about sharing, and I'm always happy to do so.

Thanks, Blytha, for the heads up on linking them to Uncle Carroll. Haven't been active on here for some time, but you have inspired me to get in gear. Still hope to meet you someday and appreciate all your great work here. Kindly, Patty
