Thanks to my Grandmother, I have been interested in genealogy since I was about 10 years old. I have actively been doing my own research for the last 20 years. |
I now possess all of the 40 plus years genealogical research of my late paternal grandparents. The wealth of information I possess is immense will take a lot of time for me to look through and organize. I will be happy to look through any information I have, however, you will have to be patient. Not only do I have piles of paper to go through in multiple boxes, bags and dresser drawers, I do not live on the same location where my genealogy office is. As much as I would love to give people information speedily, it just is not possible at the moment.
On the subject of transferring memorials, I follow the rules as stated in the FAQ's, under the heading: Editing & Correcting Memorial Information:
As for photos, PLEASE ASK ME IF IT IS OK TO USE MY PHOTOS BEFORE POSTING THEM ON OTHER WEBSITES!!! If I did not give you permission, then do not post. I post photos so I can connect with families I'm researching. As with any research, one never knows what gold mine of information others have. Or one might not know of the gold mine of information I may have on the families they are researching. If my name is connected to it, it is easier to share information.

If you will email me, I will by return mail forward to you the emails I sent trying to get these two memorials straightened out. When I went back to check on them, I find someone has had them merged and now they are all messed up! Thanks, Dianne

I am glad that you are pleased. Very best wishes to you!
Sorry, I meant second wife Abigail; so we are from the same line it seems!
|Julia Wheeler||RE: Cushing Bowker|
Hi Beth, thank you for responding!
I am a descendant of Cushing and his last wife Abigail Ryder. However, I was wondering if you had any information on his first wife, Sarah Marston. I suspect she may be related to Samuel Marston, another ancestor who married the daughter of Cushing and Abigail.

Rosa Lusk was b 1870; Rosa Overton was b 1882. Rosa Lusk married Elisha Cain while Rosa Overton married George L. Meinecke.

Thanks for the photos, Beth! I just left a message regarding Rosa Lee Lusk Cain buried at the Freedom Cemetery. She was the dau. of Adoniram J. Lusk and Sophronia A. Brown. Of this,I am positive. My great grandmother, Virginia Mae, was a sister to Rosa.

|Mhovar||Acacia Park Cemetery Photo Request|
Hello - I work near the Acacia Park Cemetery, where you have a photo request, and I can easily stop by anytime. However the cemetery office has a policy to only allow me two location lookups per visit, so with over 100 requests, I am making graves with plot information my priority. If you would like me to add a photo, I would ask that you call the office (773-625-7800) for a location and add it to the listing. Thanks!

|Julia Wheeler||Bowker Family|
Hi Beth, I'm interested to know what information you have on the Bowker family. I am a descendant of Cushing Bowker through his third wife Sarah Marston, both buried in the Waterloo cemetery. Thanks!
