I have been working on my family tree for over 40 years. There are over 12,000 names in it, with the concentration on the names Bittenbender, Brensinger, Gery (or Geary), Rader (or Roeder) and Reichl. My point of reference centers around Berks and Lehigh counties in Pa., although it branches out, mostly in eastern Pa. I have one missing link...Jacob Bittenbender (born in 1815 and died in 1863) who was married to Sarah Wagner. If you ever find his tombstone or record of death PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I also printed a Bittenbender-Gery volume of my notes and it is available at the Schwenkfelder Library in E. Greenville, the Public Libraries in Allentown, Emmaus and Macungie, and the Kutztown University Heritage Center. I'm lways open to new or corrected info. Thanks.|

Thank you. I'm actually researching James H Nuss but Jacob and Maria seem to have raised him so I added them to my tree. Maria's death certificate says she was buried at Zionville and the informant was James H Nuss. I thought maybe James' father died and Maria remarried but church records indicate Jacob and Maria were married in 1860 before James was born. Church records don't indicate they had any children.

Do you know the relationship between James H Nuss (Memorial# 61458868) and Jacob K Carl? In the 1870 and 1880 US census James is living with Jacob and Maria.

|Mrs. Bonnie Sue||Theresia (Maitz) Reichl|
In regards to your message....II've been doing research on this Theresia (Maitz) Reichl and believe her to be the wife of Frank Reichl, born about 1901...I am still trying to locate him. They are shown together on the 1930 Philadelphia census, but the 1940 Philadelphia census shows him as married, but Theresia is not listed with the family...perhaps they divorced. Do you know if Frank is also buried at this cemetery, or have any info on him when he died? Thanks, Kitty
Hi Kitty, I don't know anything about this family. At one point, I was just going to the cemetery, taking pictures of headstones, and entering them into the database if they weren't in there already. Sorry I couldn't be of any help....Bonnie

Thank you. Linda Kehm is my cousin. Her mother was the sister of my mother.

As for the Matura-Tomasovic relationship, using DNA from Agnes Yandle which I than sent to Ancestry.com I was able to locate a daughter of John Matura who recently passed away. He and his then girlfriend gave a baby up for adoption 50 years ago. A match was found and they all reunited last year for the first time. So thrilled he had the chance to meet his daughter before he passed away.

Thank you for the transfer of my Aunt and Uncle. It means so much to me, more than I can express.
|Mark Maxwell||David R Rohrbach|
Do you have the complete article on the Rohrbach clan gathering that you placed on David's memorial?
Can we get a scan for our "School Files" at the Roundhouse Museum?
I found a notice today in the 29DEC1949 issue of "The NEWS" of Egg Harbor City that announced the plans for his 75th birthday party on January 5th, and his obituary in his birth date issue in the newspaper holdings of the museum.
