My interest in genealogy started when I was young and found a folder my dad had with notes on many generations of his family. What started with those pages of notes and a tin type of his grandfather has turned into a journey that has now been ongoing for over 30 years. I believe I have visited every graveyard/cemetery within a 40 mile radius of where I live and have helped hundreds get photographs of tombstones they might not otherwise have. When ever I am able to take a trip away from home I make time to visit an old cemetery. When in England several years ago I even got the owner of the bed and breakfast where I was staying to drive along and help me look for tombstones. It was a great experience and hope to do it again one day.|
And remember this: When chemists die, they barium.

I like your Bio section! I also started my family genealogy in 1982 and I'm still at it! Much of my research came from a website I stumbled into in the late 1990's. What a huge site he had and a massive database. Helps to be rich, with tons of time, but this person was very much devoted to this area of Germany where my family came from. I even visited him in Miami while I was on vacation. He also made five trips to that area of Germany to take gravestone photos in all the cemeteries to post to his website. He said he would get chased out by people, because the Germans just don't like, or think, pictures should be taken. Funny! Good luck to you!

Thank you for trying to find the gravestone of August Horstman. He must be somewhere else. The search goes on! Thanks for your work on this website. Much appreciated.

Thanks again for the photo of my grandfather's grave (Rufus M. Richardson) in Willamette National Cemetery. I was wondering if i could have your permission to use that photo in my Ancestry.com Tree? Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you very much for the photo of her grave. I am pleased to see she is buried next to her husband, James. I created a memorial for him and posted a photo request, would you add the photo to his memorial too, please? His # is 148522714. May I use the photo in my research?

Thanks Sunny, give me a day.
I paid for a wall inscription for Bernard McDonald. It was supposed to be close to his son Brian's grave. I will call the cemetery to see what the situation is. They said it was completed....so I don't understand why it isn't there. Sorry for any inconvenience. Marsha Hale
