Bio and Links
Bio Photo I welcome corrections, updates, links, and additional information on my memorials. Findagrave is a joy when people work together in the spirit of collaboration.
If a fellow contributor takes the time and trouble to send links and updates, please accept them in good faith. Findagrave does not require us to provide documentation at all, let alone several sources.

Thank you to everyone who has cheerfully added the information and links I've asked for, and a pox on those who won't. And thanks to the photographers who go out in the cold and heat to get photographs of stones for us all. Findagrave couldn't exist without the 'boots on the ground' folks.

The lines I look for are Worsham and Moody on my mother's side, O'Quinn, Summers, Rentz and Kinard on my father's side.

I have added some grave photos. They aren't the best; please let me know if you have a better photo to post.

Yes, I kind of think it was a mis-spelling, too; it is always bizarre to me when that happens on gravestones. What I do is use the gravestone spelling on the memorial but put a note in the BIO stating that I think the spelling is a typo & why I think so, & what the correct spelling is (name the sources for the "correct" spelling). Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!

I mentioned it, because F.A.G. recommends (in their FAQs) using the the spelling that is on the gravestone (probably to help avoid possible duplicates).

RE: O D A Wilson
Thanks for your note, Anna. I blew the image up and it looked like "1843" to me. ODA Wilson served in the 3rd South Carolina Cavalry, enlisting in March 1862. It would seem unlikely that there would be two ODA Wilsons or that he would have signed up at age 13. I will be down in the area this weekend and will try to locate the grave and determine for certain what the exact birth year is. Unfortunately, I have no idea what his initials stand for.

Take care,

Memorial # 96775827 Lola Mae "O'Quinn" Craven
I am very familiar with this cemetery and went over it in detail and could not find this grave. There is only one plot in this cemetery marked Craven. It has three grave stones: Myrtle P. Mizzel Craven, Dewey Lee Craven and Dewey Lee Craven, Jr. It is a large plot and there is additional room. Maybe it is there unmarked? I hope this helps someone. I did take photos of the above mentioned graves if anyone is interested please let me know.

No, I am not related. My grandparents are buried in Riverside Cemetery, so I visit there and am trying to photograph as much of it as possible.
