Turon Cemetery: Nellie Chalmars Hanselman Boles
Bertha...thanks for catching and giving me the heads up that somehow I missed linking Nellie to her husband Lloyd. All taken care of and again, very grateful.

If you are related, let me know and I'll be happy to transfer memorial to you. My relationship is indirect with Nellie being "wife of 3rd cousin 1x removed". Hope that you all are enjoying some sunshine and some warmth...it's like a roller coaster down here in Oklahoma..one day in the 80's and the next day in the 40's....Spring must be on its way soon!!! Sharen

Fairlawn requests
Hi the reason there is so many requests for Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson is that they will charge $5.00 to look up a name if you are not related. You can leave a list of names with the secretary at Fairlawn and she will look them up when she feels like it. I was told that it could take several months. The cemetery was bought several years ago by a company out of Michigan and there policy is to charge to look up locations unless you are related. If you can contact the cemetery and get a location for your requests in this cemetery, I will get pictures Walt

Relative perhaps
I am looking for relatives of Bertha Johnson Roberson. My granddad was John Thomas Roberson. His mother, Bertha died shortly after he was born. I believe in Alabama. His dad then moved to Texas I( Alex Roberson)

I am Sue Mehaffey Thompson

Tom Bean, TX

Thanks
Mr. Roberson was born in Alabama November 28, 1849, being the son of James and Mary Wheeler Roberson. He grew to manhood in that state and was married in 1870 to Miss Bertha Johnson, who died the next year leaving a son, John Roberson who now resides near Comanche.
In 1871 Mr. Roberson came to Texas and settled on a farm about two miles East of Comanche in what is now known as the Robersonville community on the Fort Worth road. He specialized in truck farming and for more than fifty years sold vegetables in Comanche. He was still living on that farm at the time of his death.
