RE: Adams Family
thats awesome, i had been looking near by to find lytles family but no such luck so far, i have found many decendents, his grandson had a massive estate apparently and its got a huge file of digital copies for his will in the family search data base, still trying to sort that one out, theres an adoptive child that i cant find a record of mentioned in it. i havent had much time recently to devote to reserach on the website, i do alot of my own geneology work as well as a full time care giver for my disabled husband, 10 kids and a full time night shift job lol its crazy around here, but the kids enjoy our outings to the cemeteries, i dont get to this one as often as i used to since we moved away, we did live right down the road and used to walk up there on pretty days. thanks for the extra info on the adams family, maybe now i can link them to the ones of the older generations mentioned in the court minutes etc. i wasnt sure when they migrated in, i have adams as well futher back, but they moved into indiana from ky, i took a interest here because i thought maybe i could find a branch that moved this way, a ton of my family moved down through tn around the civil war and also right after the revolution we go back to the first colonies. ive been working on the hunch that some of them ended up in coffee county, as luck would have it, i just proved one tonight! and the family is close enough ill be able to go grave hunting to see if they are buried here, im kind of excited about that. anyway, thanks so much for the info, and please do feel free to ask if you come across a memorial yoy would like to have or if you would like me to add info to one, im not stingy, especially when it comes to history!

RE: Adams Family
thank you! Patti has been very generous in sending some of these to me for keeping, are there any memorials you are interested in maintaining for your family record? ive been stumped on where to find the Adams family prior to Lytle. Coffee county history is kind of a side hobby for me and I found the Adams family to be quite interesting characters in our recent history, surprised that they are not more well known in the books here, the Adams played a big role in the modernization of the town of Manchester. any additional info youd like to add or link would be much appreciated and if youd care to maintain any of them your self feel free to ask, they are not kin to me that I know of, I just ran across the story of the family as I was searching for historical information on the town.

RE: James Jasper Lance
Hi. I tried searching for Tittle Cemetery and had no luck. It seems to me that most of them are buried in Ivy Cemetery, Warren County, KY. If you could send me the link to her memorial, or to the cemetery itself. As far as the Pruitts you mentioned, I don't have any of them in my tree.

Agreed we are related "somehow", but I have no idea how. BTW, Jack Henry Toliver, Jr (whom we affectionately refer to as "Captain Jack"--kind of an inside joke)was rather an interesting character. I have posted what I know about him on both ancestry.com and Find-A-Grave.
