I am a Cornwell. My Cornwells came to VA in the 1600's and then immigrated through OH and on into IL. My dad and I have been researching the Cornwell family for well over 25 years. Rather than focus solely on my line, I have had an interest in all people with the Cornwell name--trying to link them all together.|
I also have a particular interest in the burials of Clark County, IL, where much of my family resides. Please send any additions and corrections to my memorials using the edit tab on the top right corner of the memorial page to make it easier for me to make the proper corrections.

|Bob Law||Jane Shields Cornwell|
Cindy: In looking at your memorial for Jane Shields Cornwell 128337250 listed as the second wife of Thomas Jesse Cornwell one of their children was Ida Katherine Cornwell Carman and on her death certificate her mother is listed as Jane Draper. Also in the book of Cal's Columns the wives of Thomas Jesse were listed as Spears, Draper and West. I was wondering if the Jane Shields you listed was married to a Draper? I have not really worked on this family but my grandmother was a sister of Ida Katherine by his third wife Martha Clay West.

|Janet Brungardt||Vernon Doughtery memorial|
Do you have any more information on Vernon's parents and siblings? I'm looking for information on Loretta E Doughtery who married Charles William Gray, who are also buried in the Aten Cemetery. I think that Vernon could be Loretta's younger brother.

|S Hunt Todd||Willie R. Frazier, aka Frasier #54009292|
Thank you so very much for putting through the various Frazier family link suggestions I have sent your way over the last few days. I very much appreciate how promptly you have responded to each one! It's quite amazing to say the least with the more than 37,000 memorials you manage. Again, thank you so much and thank you for the incredible contributions you have made towards Find A Grave and all of us who benefit from it!!
Since you have been so quick to input the changes, I'm writing now to inquire about the one request I did not hear back on. It was the only request I made for a transfer. This was for the memorial of Willie R. Frazier (I added the photo of the headstone this week), memorial #54009292. I was concerned that maybe you did not receive the transfer request due to the robot message I had to respond to which was new to me. If you did receive the request and are undecided, I would like to say again how much I would greatly appreciate you transferring his memorial to me. I sent you the links to his parents which you input, and I will take very good care of him if you honor this transfer request.
Thank you for your consideration, Cindy.
