I was profoundly impressed when I saw my own name on a tombstone at a young age- I had a great aunt with the same name who died the year after I was born. At that moment I realized "Hey, those are real people, with real lives buried there, not just stones!"|
Since then I have had a real appreciation of tombstones and who they represent. I take pictures of stones that touch me, as well as those of people I have met.

My great grandmother is buried in the Rome Cemetery. I have several photos of the headstone and know on the front of the headstone is Mrs. W.E. Williams.1845-1904.
On the back of the photo's is written Rome, Ohio Cemetery. I recently found out there are two cemeteries in Rome. I am not sure which one she would be buried in but,I was told it is probably this one. Would you please help me find her grave.
I know the headstone may not be standing by now, but I am hoping there would be a record. If you would need a copy of the photo let me know. Thank you in advance for any help in locating the grave.

I added the sentence you sent me as a Bio on Lewis' memorial.
This is my husbands aunt and I was wondering if you know this family personally since you knew the cause of her death. Always searching for further information on the Campana family. We only have one living aunt left on this line.
Thanks - Lori in MI

I have been looking for the couple for some years
now, are you any relation?
My Grandmother Emma Prior-Kiernan was Bess's Sister.
Emma and Bart Kiernan emigrated to the States with or about the same time as James an Bess. Emma and her husband moved up to Canada where my Mother was born. My Mother remembers Bess and Emma corresponding years ago. Would there be any living relatives? I would love to make a contact with them.

Sorry about the last message about additional information for your memorial. I accidentally hit the button before I entered the following information. Carrie's third marriage was to Charles H Biermann on the date in the previous marriage and the memorial I am referring to is Charles H Biermann #34555386.
I have not created a memorial for Carrie because I don't have her death record and I don't know where she is buried.
