|Chuck||RE: Hattie Swartz|
I didn't realize that there were duplicates involved. I will go ahead and link her page to the original parent pages.

Hattie is already linked to her parents, but thank you for the input.

I linked your grandmother to her parents. I have also transferred your grandmother's Find A Grave memorial page to you.
|Pam Miska||Henline, George husband of Margaret|
Hello, I am interested to know if George Henline, husband of Margaret Henline is buried next to her. Do you have any records of this while you photographed Margaret. Thank you for your time.

Thank you SO much for taking these pictures. I tried to get pictures in 2007, but the present owner of the property would not give me access.
I am a direct descendent of Peter Crow and Susanna Earlwine. They are my great, great grandparents via Emanuel Francis and Sabra Crow, Edward B Francis and Nancy Brown and my grandmother Martha Ellen Francis Riggs, and mom, Mary Jane Riggs McClure.
I'm new to this and have only just begun and have a long way to go with everyone!
I am trying to site information and I will site you on my ancestry.com public tree, (Roberta McClure Long Family Tree), I hope that is ok with you. Feel free to look, I am in the process of posting information and photographs that go back to the late 1800's.
I have two photographs that my mother took of the Crow Family Cemetery in about 1965? I will post them too.
At that time there was a Revolutionary Soldier plaque in front of Peter Crow's headstone.
There were also some newer, rather large headstones at the gravesite. I wish I had more pictures that names could be identified on them. Was there any evidence of them there when you were there?
I also remember a crew of prisoners from the Penitentiary in Moundsville cleaned the cemetery up and reset gravestones sometime in the 1960's. I wonder if they have photographs.
The farm, was My uncle, (by marriage) Lester Coffield's, but it was originally one of the Francis/Riggs farms. My uncle was married to my aunt, Wilma Elizabeth Riggs Coffield.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again!

Jenny: Thank you for getting back so soon. Peter & Susanna Earlewine Crow are my direct lines. I tried to see if this Jacob Crow would match anyone in my tree, but alas, it does not. Did I send you what I thought Jacob Crow's stone read? I can see it does read Jacob Crow and that he died Jan [maybe] 15 180_ [maybe]. Maybe if someone is going out that way again, they could use colored chalk to bring out the letters on the stone and we could find out what the stone reads. I'd like to find out.
Thanks, Shirley :)

Hi. I saw the photo of the tombstone you put on Find A Grave for Jacob Crow Memorial #19654649 and wondered if you have any information to what branch he 'might be' related to. The stone looks like it reads: Jacob Crow Died Jan 15, 180_. I have several Jacob Crows in my tree.
Thanks Shirley :)

Thank you so very much.
I know you will enjoy DAR. It is a very worthwhile organization.
To learn more about DAR, go to www.DAR.org and look at the information about the schools that DAR has built, etc... We, as members, help maintain those schools. DAR built schools in locations that would ordinarily NOT have schools. We promote education, preserve history and promote patriotism.
