I have been a genealogist for over twenty years. As part of my research, I photographed family gravestones and have posted them (and others) on Findagrave. Anyone wanting these posted photos (for their own family research) is welcome to make copies or to contact me for a copy.|
Since I wrote the above, my interest in posting to Findagrave has changed. I started with just my family tree, but I have expanded to doing unrelated gravestones & memorials also. Because of personal issues I will not add genealogical information to memorials that is not on the gravestone, unless I personally do the research. By doing this I avoid the issue of what the sources are. The exception to this is my own family tree which I have deeply researched in primary sources. Regarding the memorials I have added that are not related to me, I will be happy to and would rather transfer them to a relative of any degree or other person with a vested interest. This is because I believe that a related person will do a better job of maintaining and have more information to add to a memorial along with having more motivation to see to the linking of related persons on Findagrave. But PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR RELATIONSHIP to the requested memorial as part of your transfer request. If you choose to ignore my relationship information request I will choose to ignore your transfer request. Because of my health issues, in the future any requests for changes to unrelated memorials I have, will result in them being transferred to the person requesting the changes. So I am requesting relationship information the same as a transfer request. I hope this is OK with all. Thank you.

|Pooh Bear||RE: Willard Mackey|
Thanks so much for posting the obituary. After reviewing this information, this is definitely not the Willard Mackey for which I was searching. thanks so much for your help.
I sent you a message through Ancestry, I think. I am inquiring about the Ramsey County Poor Farm Cemetery. There is a George Alford buried there. He died March 4, 1923 according to a record on FamilySearch.org. I would like to know if you have a picture of his gravestone/marker, or if you have any other information. Thank you very much! Find a Grave Memorial #19130904.

OK, thanks anyway, Alva. I found LOTS of info on her hubby and some on her children, but nothing on her parents so far. I'll keep looking.
|PerseidsGirl||Jessie MacKay Finalyson|
Hi, Big Man. I was wondering if you could give me info on Jessie MacKay Finlayson, FG #70325178. I thought I had her in my family tree as a daughter of James (b. about 1774) and Anna MacKay, sibling to William, Duncan, Davina, etc. However, unless it's new info, she's not a sibling, but must be part of the extended MacKay family. Do you know who her parents or siblings were? Thank you for any info you can give me.
|Olive Hoffman||Champlin gravestone photos|
I just found the photos/family info you posted for the Champlin family - Alfred, Paulina (Adams) and others. Are you, by any chance, related to/descended from any of the Champlins? You seem to have taken so much time with the info; I am trying to find anyone who can help us get some answers about a relationship that is known to exist - just do not know how! Something keeps eluding us. Thanks for all your time and effort on this.

Re: Find A Grave Memorial# 35413544
You have attached a photo of John Randolph Jewett, and it looks like it's an illustration from a book. Do you have more information regarding him or any member of his family? He married a distant relative of mine, Elizabeth Mildred Gilmour.
|Dale Andrew Wishop||Duncan Ferguson|
Thank you for the transfer of Duncan Ferguson.
I have typed in the rather long Bio, published about him that was printed in the paper after his passing.
Dale Andrew Wishop
Thanks for the Transfer. Nancy

Thank you for the great pic.
Thanks so much for the photo of the Collins' headstone in Green wood Cemetery. I very much appreciate your time, effort and skill in finding and photographing this headstone for me.
