Bio Photo Galesville MD was my hometown, I went from attending the same school my father went to, serving in the Navy as Hospital Corpman in Viet Nam, graduated from Anne Arundel Community College and the University Maryland and then left Maryland to pursue my livelihood as a Audiovisual Coordinator at Craven Community College in New Bern, NC
I am now retired and spend a lot of time researching on and at the public library. I have now more that 40000 images of cemeteries. I am now using to located less know cemeteries displayed on topo maps and get correct long and lat. for cemeteries. Another site is as it works both ways.

I like to follow-up when I find someone is looking for a particular person if I have some information that I have found from Ancestry or other sources. Sometimes I need help as the cemetery description lack location details so I like checking with the person who listed the memorial.

Someone asked who is paying for the gas, the purpose of this service is we do it for the enjoyment and gaining knowledge of our community. So also is this free service to keep our bodies and minds working and active.

Hi John, seen your work here on this cemetery and I am working on the Pike family tree. Was wondering if you could transfer management on memorial # 90057536 William Pike to me. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

RE: My photo request for Mort Henson
Thanks, I will look for your pjhoto on the vemetery listing. I did try Google street view for a view of the church, but got a parking lot with a building that must be the church in the background part way out of frame.

My photo request for Mort Henson
Thanks for the good photo of My classmate's grave. It really enhances hid memorial. I infer from your profile that you use GPS in fulfilling requests. Did you happen to get his coordinates? I s'pose they are not really essential as the setting seems pretty intimate, so he should be easy for a visitor to locate.

RE: Smith Cemetery - Hazel Melton
Yes I found Hazel's grave, she is my husbands Aunt. Do you know the family? Just curious.
I will tell you anything you want to know, just ask. I will help all I can. I never met her husband but mt daddy knew him as we all are from Jones County, N.C.
Send me a message and we shall talk.

Purifoy Cemetery
Hi John,

Claimed a request for a stone in Purifoy Cemetery on St Delight Church road out of Bridgeton.
I notice that you added most of the memorials and photos. Am I right in assuming that you probably photographed all the visible stones when you were there?
If not I will take a run out and see if I can find it.
The specific request is for William Hardy Whitford

Look forward to hearing from you again.
