Hi Clella, and very happy to meet you!
I've sent a direct reply to your post about the Girty family group here, and happy to assist you with research. I'm so glad that descendents are finding this family now, they have been lost for a very long time and deserve respect and remembrance.
Thank you so much for posting, hope I can help you.

I would like to introduce myself. My Grandmother was Polly P Stiles Hutchinson. She was sister to James Samuel Stiles that is buried in the Welty Cemetery in Oklahoma. How are you related to James? I have been researching family since about 1980. I don't know alot about the Stiles side of my family but I have been learning alot since finding "Find a grave". My name is Leveda Hutchinson Kelly. My father Henry Olen Hutchinson passed away when I was 23 months old. I never had alot of contact with my Hutchinson side of my family except for one uncle. He could not tell me alot about the family as my Grandmother Polly Stiles passed away when he was 14 years old. He did tell me that Grandma had a sister Charity C and that her husband was Nelson Keck. Are we related? If so I would really appreciate sharing family information if you would care to. Looking forward to hearing from you. You can contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Very Cool, Nyle was my grandfather and we used to visit him every year in Vancouver. My Dad was Peggy's son from her first marriage and it is his dad that I am trying to find out info on. Peggy had a Bible that she wrote in and My Mom has that, Peggy listed herself and all her siblings and she wrote in it that her Name was Arlie May Dorrell. I did try searches with Arlene just to be thorough, but came up blank. So far I have not been able to track down any marriage paperwork for her and her first husband, so one half of the family tree is very bare. There was a brother that lived with Nyle for a few years when he moved to the manufactured home behind the original house, was that your Dad? If you have any information on Peggy and her first husband, anything at all, I would love to know of it.

Do you have info that points to her as being Arlene?
I have spent years and $$$$ trying to document her and Arthur Lee Campbell Sr.

I have removed the line in the bio about Faye. The headstone for Tom clearly shows his wife as Faye. Thanks for catching that mistake.

I am the oldest daughter of Howard Core - Horace's (goes by Harlen) brother ;) are you on ancestry.com? My dad and I just went on our first cemetery excursion on Saturday to Okfuskee County and then I found this site. I appreciate you confirming this information and wod love to see how we are related.

I would like more information about your listing for Margaret Wood Stiles #27553598. You state that she didn't have a tombstone in 2002. How did you know that she is buried there and do you know the location in relation to John Stiles - her spouse? Also - if you have done the ancestry research, do you have record of hem having a son names James S Stiles? I believe that this Margaret and John Stiles are his parents and also my Great Great Grandparents. We just visited this cemetery yesterday and there was a metal marker in front of John's stone and the stone itself is in very bad condition.
