I enjoy doing Genealogy, and always seaching for any and all relations of our families. I started doing this about 12-14 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it, meeting new relatives, and visiting many of the cemeteries of East Texas. I joined Find a grave about 6 years ago, and it has been a tremendious help in my family searches.|
My family lines are: Manchaca's, Barber's, Garners, Hightower's, Medlins, Bell's, Philpot, Roberts, Burge, Cummings and all the allied families to go with these.
There many memorials I have contributed, and I am not related to all of these families.
I would be more than happy to receive info from anyone on the memorials I have created, or maintain and make any corrections needed, or add data to them, or transfer the ownership, as long as it is not in my immediate family. And within FIND A GRAVE Guide Lines....
(("PLEASE DO NOT PUT DEATH CERTIFICATES or OBITS on any memorials I have "created", or maintain".))
((For transfers please Do NOT EMAIL ME!!!, Use the EDIT TAB on the top right corner of the memorial and 5th option to request all transfers, within FIND A GRAVE Guide Lines.))

hi! Its me again! I knew Daisy well when I was a little girl. I can not remember but aren't she and Archie Barber closely related? I knew Archie well as he and my daddy were friends> I just love talking about all this stuff! Thanks again,

Hi Bonnie! Yes that definitely answered my question. I have an unbelieveable love of cemereties. The older the better. I am a widow. I could never get my husband of a thousand million years interested in genealogy. However all I had to do was mention to him that I had relatives in such and such cemetery and he would immediately want to know when we were going. He loved them more than I did. I would make a list, split it in half and when we got to the cemetery he would find all of his list long before I finished mine. I am from Big Sandy and always make the trip from Houston at least twice a year. I have very few relatives alive in Big Sandy now. So I just go out to Chilton and visit with every body there. Tebow really loved going to Chilton and visiting with me. He always told people, "You should see the little cemetery were all her people are buried!" He was cremated and when I die his ashes will go with me into the King lot there at Chilton. I miss many things about not having him with me. One of the things I miss most is going to the cemeteries with him! We had so much fun!
Thank you for reading this.
