Oh my goodness - I am just horrified at this report! The phone number of the Ryan City Clerk is 580-757-2277. Please call first thing Monday morning and report this travesty. It's hard to believe anyone would do such a disrespectful thing to our veterans - but I guess it takes all kinds. Would you please let me know how this news is received and what kind of follow-up you get, if any?

Thank you, Jean

ELMIRA BULL PHOTO REQUEST
There is a photo request for the headstone of Elmira Bull, with a death date of 1930. I have found a headstone of a Elmira Bull, wife of J R Bull, with a death date of 1918. Are you sure of that 1930 death date?

Ollie Callen transfer
Thanks for the transfer of Ollie Callen's memorial, he was my dad's uncle. I have "The Callen Chronicles", a family history book and 2-Johnston county history books. I've been consulting them to make additional links and suggestions for Johnston county folks. Thanks again !

RE: # 48426812 Frank Watson
"Little Frankie" or Hezekiah Franklin Watson was my half brother. He died 14 years before I was born. His mother was my father's 1st wife. There is more to her last name than is written in her bio. She was born a Conway and raised as a Ballard. I have not been able to research the names to my satisfaction. A couple of her babies has her name on the birth certificate as Lizzie Cannaway/Conway. She went by Lizzie. I wish I had been interested when I was younger and could have talked to her but at 18 when she died, I was not interested. Shame on me.
Yes she was my step-mother.
I suspect you and I are related in some way.
