Paula, according to James Elige's death certificate, he was buried at Drew Cemetery in Sunflower County. According to the correction you sent me for Mary Elizabeth Dooley Fillyaw, he is buried at IOOF in Greenwood. Just checking for verification. Thanks.

I see on your bio that you are interested in the Lindsey's of Wayne Co., Ms. My great grandparents were Charles Franklin Lindsey and Kizar Waller Lindsey. They raised their family in Wayne County, but Charles Lindsey was from Maine. He was a traveling lumber and saw mill man. He met and married my great grandmother Kizar Waller in Wayne County and was married in 1909.

Thanks for the picture of Roy McCall and Essie Ruth Jenkins. If you ever get back I'd love to have a picture of their parents Abbie and Bud Jenkins. Veloyce

Hello...I saw a post where you requested the info on Aunt Lyddie's parent's burial site...they are buried in Whitehouse Cemetery, Wayne county, Ms. I am working on getting their links established and name changes made. Abijah Powhattan is listed as A.P. Davis...Here are their memorial numbers...AP is 44942576 and Sarah Jennie is 44942849. Hope this helps some..I am double cousined to the Davis line thru Bunch and Locke marriages. If you need any info on Bunch, Davis or Mills...I probably have what u need...Happy hunting!
|Howard Moore||William Elias Davis|
William Elias Davis is my 5th Great Grandfather. I'm a member of Ancestry.com and putting together my tree. I'm stuck with William, as most info...at this point, is on others family tress with little, to no documentation. Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, documentation on his parents would be great.
Thank you very much,
