Thanks so much for the info and for the caption update. It's much appreciated.
|David P. Wilson||St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanticoke, Luzerne Co., PA|
Hi, Scott. I'm wondering if perhaps you may be who manages St. Mary's Cemetery, in Nanticoke, Luzerne Co., PA, on the Find A Grave site? If so, and if it's no problem, please note its street or road location in the cemetery entrance overview picture you posted, as at present the main Find A Grave page for that cemetery doesn't feature a marked map showing the cemetery's location, nor any address, etc., indicating what street or road its located on, and I (for one) don't have any idea of where, in Nanticoke, that cemetery is to be found. If you do manage that cemetery on Find A Grave, if you'll please include its street or road name in the location address field, on the main overview page, and also mark the cemetery's location on the Find A Grave map, that'll be excellent, and very helpful; that'll also make it possible for people to be able to see the satellite view of it. Meanwhile, thank you very much for having posted the very nice entrance overview picture for there, and for including the cemetery's full official name in that picture's caption. That was very helpful, and I, for one, appreciate it! Best regards, Dave Wilson (Seaford, DE)

Thanks for being so cooperative and I did see the picture that you added. I wish everyone was so prompt on accepting edits.

You're welcome. Glad to help!
|Pat Sager||John W. Hunt grave pic requests|
Saw your requests for photos in this Morgan County, KY cemetery. We visited this cemetery years ago when a distant cousin took us there. Unfortunately the cemetery is on private property owned by a kin to some of the folks buried there. I had the owner's phone number and had contacted him at the time. He told me that he doesn't live in the house there now but if I would contact him if anyone wanted to go up there (on a hill), he would assist but he didn't want a lot of strangers going there without permission. I since lost his info then, about a year ago, I joined a fb group with some connection to the Hunts (my gg grandparents are buried there (James "Harvey" Law and Minerva Vance Hunt). In that group I connected with some kin in KY & we talked about the cemetery needing to be recorded and photographed. I live in Alabama so not familiar with the KY counties. It took me some time but with the help of internet maps and a few memories, I located the cemetery & then googled people living in that area. Called some Laws in that area and found an old couple who is now managing the cemetery and they have to be contacted to get permission to go up there. Another Hunt relative got me going tonight so I intend to contact the KY cemetery preservation project to see if they can get it "on the map" so to speak. The owner said he had no problem with that. I contacted them about another cemetery that was way back on a farm and they got it listed and photgraphed. My KY kin said they would try to do it but they're older & it's hard. I want to do it while the caretakers are still around. It will probably take a long time but don't give up on getting those pics. I did take some pics way back but I would have to look them up, didn't get very many and had a crummy camera & knew little about photog.

I uploaded a photo for your request for him, but the stone is not very legible. If you want to put in another request for a better photo that is ok with me, maybe by next spring the stone will be a little clearer of the fungus that is covering part of it.
|Family Tree Climber||RE: Transfer?|
I updated his memorial with info I had, and transferred to you. Thank you for claiming and maintaining the memorial!
|Janet Quick||RE: Romanofski photos|
I also took a picture of the back of the stone. There are two names not listed on Find A Grave. They are Margaret (1931-2012) and Mary Bridget (1933-2010). I can E-Mail it if you want it.
