I hate to see abandoned and neglected cemeteries or graves! Whenever possible, I will always try to clean up a grave or headstone before taking a picture.
I can fulfill photo requests for Coweta County, Palmetto in both Coweta and Fulton Counties,
and parts of Fayette County:
Tyrone
Peachtree City
parts of Fayetteville
parts of Fairburn.

If you want me to transfer a family member's memorial that I have made, just let me know and I will be more than happy to do so!

RE: Frank and Nancy Leighton
I will transfer them. I do not like to transfer out of the guild lines. To many want every one in their family tree or the same last name. This is why I try to stay with the 4 gen. I know at this time about Nancy in my Grant line. I spend a lot of time on find a grave. I love to take photos of the stones. It is getting to cold to do it now. Can not wait till spring.

RE: Ware Cemetery/George Ware
I'm sorry, I don't know exactly where it is located. I'm assuming on Ware land, as that is where many of the early pioneers were buried, in family plots on their land.

RE: Frank and Nancy Leighton
I have a list for this cemetery. Grant's are in my tree. I do not like the BUs as I walk a lot of cemetery's and add the names then some one moves the unknown and Tells me to delete. I do not know why they would be in this cemetery, maybe her family are in the area. I have not been working on my family tree for some time.

RE: Nelson Horn
Hi Sharon --

No, I'm not related, but I found some info about him and his family while researching other Horns. I'd be happy to maintain his memorial (and that of his wife) if you like. Either way is fine.

BTW, I noticed that the photo you attached to his memorial is actually for his wife. If you happen to have a photo of his monument, that would be great. If you don't have one, no problem. I know you're based in Georgia, so I'll put in a photo request. How did you happen to start documenting Lake Road Cemetery? Were you on vacation, or do you have roots in the area?

Best,
Marilyn

P.S. I hope you didn't receive multiples of my SAC yesterday. Find A Grave had a glitch and went berserk. Some people I sent SACs to received DOZENS of identical messages, and my own inbox was flooded with copies (not to mention a couple of irate complaints).

RE: Mary Clifford picture
Hi Shannon -

Turns out, I had the photos for the grave of a different Mary Clifford. I'll seek out the correct one soon and post the pics then.

RE: Joseph Shaw
That is the actually coordinates for the physical grave. You can type them into Google/Bing/Yahoo maps and see the actual location. The actual latitude/longitude would make it easier for someone to find the grave.

Here is the google map link

Not exactly sure if it's in Fulton or Coweta I do know the house in fact still stands but thats about all. I understand the grave is in a bricked off lot.

RE: Phineas Sartwell
Birth 18 Jun 1772 in Charlestown, Sullivan, New Hampshire, USA Death 10 Aug 1847 in Newport, Orleans, Vermont, USA

It sounds like I did a typo on the correction...what did I do, 1972? I have no way to go back and see it now, but yes, 1772 is correct.

I did both, a photo request and an addition/correction with the birthday. Phineas Sartwell is my 5th great-grand uncle. I was stuck on who that families parents were, so was researching all the siblings. And, I did make that breakthrough last night...yeah!

Turns out, if you go back 2 more generations in this family, you get to Benjamin Adams, 1st cousin to Pres. John Adams. Amazing! You just can't make this stuff up.
