I found this on another members profile and it truly expresses how I feel as well:

"The life of a person is more than the dash between two dates. It is my hope that the memorials which I create or manage can make the individuals life fuller, even if just linking to family members or adding a few tidbits of information. Researching and including other family information makes them more than graves, they are people."

I'm searching for information for the following Families: Lavash, Lavache, Hynes, Higgins, Donohoe,Bursey, Bradbury, Brown, Demeo, Hayes, Sawin. I've been researching my roots for over 20 years and have now started to record cemeteries for others.

I've also started adding any Irish and Canadians that I come across, in tribute to my ancesters, military graves & any children that I find - they seem to be the hardest to find & I'm recording them as I find them.

This is an abbreviated list of cemeteries that I have visited so far - I've visited some of these because I have family members there -

Belmont Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Calvary Cemetery & Maus. - Waltham, MA
Cambridge Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Common Street Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Cudworth Cemetery - Scituate, MA
Evergreen Cemetery - Marboro, Ma
Evergreen Cemetery - Leominster, MA
Grove Hill Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Highland Meadow Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Holy Cross Cemetery & Maus. - Malden, MA
Mt. Auburn Cemetery - Watertown/Cambridge, MA
Mt. Feake Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - Arlington, MA
Westview Cemetery, Bedford, MA
North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Olde Burying Place - Arlington, MA
Old Burying Ground, AKA Ye Olde Burying Ground in Lexington, MA
Old Burying Place - Watertown, MA
Puritan Lawn Cemetery - Peabody, Ma
Ridgelawn Cemetery - Watertown, MA
St. Pauls Cemetery - Arlington, MA
St. Patricks Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Woodlawn Cemetery & Crem. - Everett, MA
and a few others.
I normally photograph the whole family plot if it's more than a single grave & will post those as well.

Thank you to Linda Shepard Salzer for all her pics, corrections and updates for all the memorials that I set up for North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - I greatly appreciate it :)

Avery Lewis Rand ashes
Thanks for the info about Avery and the fact his ashes were not buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. I have written the manager of his memorial to get that information corrected.

Elizabeth Lindsay photo request
Hello Sharon

Thank you so much for the photo of Elizabeth Lindsay's marker. She was the wife of poet Vachel Lindsay.

You are awesome!

Sharon, Thank you so much for searching hard & long for my grandfather's gravestone. I grew up believing that my grandmother had a stone put on his plot. I am sorry you had to search high & low for it! Thank you again, you are much appreciated.

RE: John Goldy in Cambridge Cemetery
Sharon, it's true we find so many problems because of age and lack of maintenance for older stones, but John died in 1977. It's more likely no one bothered to place a marker on his grave.
Thanks again,

John Goldy in Cambridge Cemetery
Sharon, I want to thank you very much for looking for the marker of my distant cousin John Goldy. I think I got the plot information from the cemetery office. But, he committed suicide and I have no idea of what relationship he had with what little family he had in the area, so I am not surprised if there is no marker. I appreciate your trouble.

Samuel & Nathaniel Brewer, Mt Auburn
Sharon, Thanks to you & your daughter for finding the above site & tombstone in Mt. Auburn. These are the only two people I have identified in this plot. I think they are father & son but not sure yet. Also, thanks for work on Conant family. This is a hard one in public documents. Richard.

Thanks Sharon, at least the monument is readable and can see the name. Thanks so much for again taking the time to photo and visit Mount Auburn.

Sharon, Thanks for beautiful photos on above sites. I appreciate your note with the cemetery inscriptions since they are different what is verified in public documents. We play a game on these dates from public records and what actually appears on the tombstone. Have a nice weekend. Hope everything is beautiful in Boston now. Miss it. Richard
