Bio Photo My name is Michel beckers and i live in Montfort, a small village in the South of The Netherlands.
I have been doing research regarding Aircrashes near my village in WWII for about 18 years.

St. Mary's vs. St. Marys
Hey there, I just wanted to give you a heads up that there is a cemetery created for St. Marys, where you might want to move your memorial over to.

It is created under the name St. Marys without an apostrophe.
Just an FYI, since yours is the only interment under 'St. Mary's'.

Take care,

Flt.Sgt.Geoffrey Woodcock
My mother's brother Geoffrey Woodcock born 3rd December 1921 in Manchester England. The second photograph is definately NOT Geoff .I have visited Rheinberg Cemetery where Geoff and his crew are buried . There was a survivor of the crash on 27th September 1943 , A Canadian named James Kanelakos. He was badly injured and spent long time in hospital before being transferred to a prisoner of war camp. I do have more information about Geoff and crew and also photos. I intend to visit Quakenbruck where Geoff,s Lancaster JA 849 crashed in 1943 to see if any memorial there exists. Do you know of anyone who is or has researched crash sites in Germany ?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Please contact

Many Thanks
