Thank You To Everyone Leaving Flowers And Kind Notes On My Memorials !|
I surely don't understand some of the contributors who refuse to transfer unless it is by guidelines. What do you want with my Great Great Aunt or some other member of my family tree ? And would you have me keep your relative from you ? Really !

Amen! ... I so agree with your's and SKC's comments on some individual's attitudes on memorial transfers. I know what the rules are, but it's better to bend the rules out of love. If the memorial is to honor those who have passed ... then who better than a relative or close friend? It took me 4 months to wrestle my own mom and dad from a really distant kin who did not know my family from another except that we were in one another's family tree. Finally I resorted to writing Find A Grave admin. Shortly afterwards they were transferred to me. Then there there are those members who will transfer even if the person is a close friend ... God bless them ..............
|Alice Morton||Dear Steve|
Thank you for sponsoring Bob the cat. That was such a nice thing to do. Judy, Bob's Mom is just devastated. She took him in for some issues he was having and he just didn't make it. He was such a sweet cat. Back before July got him he had been shot with an arrow and who knows what else happened to him. She took him in and he was one happy kitty to have found a loving home. She adored him.Again thank you.

Thank you for your sweet token left for Roxanne. It's adorable and so looks like her.
|SKC||Transference of Memorials|
I totally agree with you on those who insist on using the guidelines for transference of ownership. One of my thoughts on this is that lots of these people want the 'numbers'. I may be wrong, but sometimes it seems as if there is a contest of who can post the most memorials. I had to literally rush to post my own son's memorial immediately after his passing in December of 2012, due to some people jumping on the daily obituaries to be able to be the first to post the passing of an individual. These people will post without having all the information, such as birth dates and place of burial. I stopped being a photo volunteer because every time I went to claim a request, it was immediately snapped up by some local person. I am one of the first members of this site and it seems to have gotten ridiculous how people are so anal about this issue. Sad. Just my thoughts. Take care and God bless.

My pleasure. I have already removed the photos with a puddle and re-taken the photos. What you see are the ones I took the following day. Have a great 2015!
