RE: memorials for Robert J. and Lois M. Jones
Thanks for your attention. I always hate to point out someones mistake, but it is soooo easy to do! I found a few others that day but you are the only response. I thank you for not being offended! - jWheeler

RE: nancy fisk, laharpe, allen co KS
you, or I, could ask the memorial owner to change photo order. or you can delete and upload the person photo, select 'person' on the upload page. 'grave' is default selection.

same issue with Nancy Fisk # 38711893 in LaHarpe Cemetery. 'grave' photo uploaded pushed 'person' photo down the display list.

I uploaded headstone photo for Lee Fisk, #39521220, LaHarpe, Allen Co KS. your 'person' photo was pushed down. if you change the photo designation to 'person', it will remain always on top of display page. it must be designated 'grave' since it moved down the display list. I can ask the memorial owner to just change the photo order if you'd prefer.

Almost forgot
I updated the names on Lucinda and Laura to include their maiden names.

RE: Re: Burnes daughters
I think that happened a lot more often back then! One of the first Victorian hand art monuments I found was for Anna Gilbert, #57884809, who died at the age of 30. Less than a year to the day of her death, her husband married her younger sister! Her husband and younger sister ended up working at a station that distributed goods to the Indian Reservations in Oklahoma. Haven't been able to figure out what happened to them after that.

RE: Permission to use photo?
Oh! I had not made the connection before. Lucinda's is one of my favorite markers at that cemetery, as it's in good shape and, as far as I can tell, one of the oldest marker there (possibly the oldest). There are other Rickabaughs at that cemetery, buried near her - including Lucinda's husband.

RE: Permission to use photo?
Yes, of course! If you wouldn't mind adding a "courtesy of" or "used with permission" and my name. I may be misremembering, but it seemed that there was another name carved on the reverse side of that marker. I will have to do some hunting to remember - I think the last name was different.
