Yvonne,
You have the earliest Memorial and should maintain it. I think there was a problem with the burial cemetery and I found the duplicates when names were corrected. I cannot delete either memorial as I did not create them. Do we have her in the correct cemetery?

Sorry--I did have a wrong photo. This week I've fixed 54 monuments around $250 without pay. I'm one who volunteers, but I do admit my mistakes. If you find anymore let me know, because I've fixed over 70 in County Line Cemetery. Have a good 4th. Mark

First, it was amazing that the stones are still there, because most in that little area are gone. It was even more amazing to see how thick the (dead)lichens were. (I just rubbed them away to get the photo - no abrasives) Unfortunately, the lichens' by-product is an acid which erodes that stone and probably had a major part in creating some of the legibility problems with the last little marker. They are in remarkably good condition, though. They are all just roughly 1' tall.

Thanks. I try to visit cemeteries in the morning so the angle of the sun helps bring out the text. I also tweak the setting on my camera to get more contrast. And sometimes I go to the next step and adjust contrast in my photo editing software. Getting the text on a gravemarker is what this project is all about -- right? Best wishes, Dave in Loudoun County Virginia.
