Yes go ahead and use them. I am working on
the whole cemetery.

Absolutely! I know where all of the rest of your family is, but unfortunately, most of those stones have eroded. The church was torn down in the 50's, but still is cared for. Are your relatives from Hopewell, NJ also?
Thanks for adding his obit

you are very welcome !!!!
|Jim Allingham||Jacob Hoffheins|
Regarding your edit requests for the Jacob Hoffheins memorial that I posted, I don't believe your information is accurate.
According to the records of the York County Historical Trust, York, PA, Jacob was born in Dover Township, York County, PA on 13 February 1787 to Sebastian Hoffheins (1767-1852) and Barbara Gochenour (1762-1844).
Could I trouble you for the sources for the birth place and parents you listed for him?
Thanks for your help. Best regards,

Yes, Pattie, you have my permission to use the photos. Thank you for your comments.

You are welcome.
|Richard K Thompson||Valeira Lyon memorial updates|
Thank you for your edits and SAC messages about Valeira and Robert Lyon. I did some searching this morning at the Jefferson county Recorder's office and in the microfilm records of the Fairfield Public Library and found a number of interesting insights that I've now noted on their memorials. You might want to read my updates done just a bit ago.
I can provide you via email with PDF copies of their marriage record and obituaries if you are interested in them.
I was headed out this morning so I went by the Church and Cemetery and searched and did not locate a headstone. I also searched a small cemetery that the Church is a caretaker for approx 3 miles away with no results. A woman at the Church asked if I had found what I was looking for and when I asked she said a woman had talked with her husband a few days ago about an older house and the headstones and he had searched with no luck. I guess that was you? There are a few grave markers with the Snyder name here. I took some pictures and will check to see if there are records for them. The cemetery is old and there are missing stones/gaps in the rows. Also some stones are very weathered and unreadable.
|Russ Hudson||RE: Mary and Andrew Snyder|
Yes the Genealogical Society has a comprehensive collection of cemetery records for the county. I review them before heading out to look since they have plot information and cemetery maps. As I said they had a listing for Andrew and Mary Snyder, but not with the dates you provided.
Andrew 1-12-1825 5-27-1899
Mary 11-27-1863 11-8-1936
