In my pre-teen years, my grandmother and I would go for walks in the cemetery close to her home. It was a history lesson for me as she would tell me about the lives of her family and friends buried there.|
My goal is to link as many memorials as I can and provide pictures to help future generations find their ancestors. If you find any mistakes please Email me and I will make corrections.

Mike, Never mind. I'm going to delete my memorial and just add corrections to Lynn's memorial. I apologize. I didn't notice at first that her memorial is older than mine.

Mike, you posted a picture on Zula Samsel's memorial No. 74216398. There is, I believe, a more accurate memorial No. 76234155 that has her headstone. Would you be willing to add her picture to that one, please. She was a beautiful lady.

Thank you for posting the picture of Sarah E. Ford's headstone. Are you related to her? She and her husband David are my great great grandparents. I have been trying to trace his Ford family.

|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Captain Curtis S. Griffin|
Captain Curtis S. Griffin was on board of a bomber from the 67th Bomb Squadron, 44th Bomb Group. His plane participated in a bombing raid over Sicily on 14 July 1943. The plane never returned to her base. Captain Griffin is listed on the Walls of Missing of the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy.
You posted his picture on findagrave.com. I would like to ask your permission to use that picture for my project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between July 1943 and April 1947. If his remains would have been found, he would have been buried at Gela.
I have my project available on a DVD, titled "They stayed behind".
Of course you will be credited

You're very welcome. Did you see Cora Ellen Brooks was added? I assume she was the daughter of Cora and Nathan. If I'm wrong, I'll de-link her to them.
I'll see if I can find them. May take me awhile. Take care.
