Recording each person's time on this Earth is a very worthy objective, expecially for historical and genealogical purposes. I am happy that I can be a small part of this great world-wide collection of information. But, in the interest of efforts expended and reasonable time I have to index, photo and service memorials may I ask for your cooperation with the following:

I am not related to most of the entries I've posted and try only to enter information appearing on the gravemarkers, including associated photographs (where possible).

Please,(if you are not a Findagrave Contributor) and will send your requests through FAG, I will try to answer questions, respond to comments, make additions and/or corrections and will attempt to enter your requests as time will permit.

Please, (if you are a Findagrave Contributor), follow Findagrave's instructions explaining proper procedures before requesting any action, in your behalf, to be initiated by the original Contributor. I will continue to update and correct my entries, including Linkages for identifiable families.

However, I have found it necessary to now disregard all Obituary, all Newspaper, and all other similar requests for postings and updates that refer to either second or third party documentary sources (or both). I believe these types of requests should be taken care of by the Contributors who can maintain and support entries made through their own records.

Transfers from the original Contributor to the requesting Contributor is often possible, and preferred, to accomplish a satisfactory update to a Memorial. The requesting Contributor can then become the "Maintainer" of the Memorial.

To preclude your E-Mails and Messages from not being received and acted upon, would you enter "Findagrave" as the subject. If you will provide me with, at least, the specific Cemetery and Find A Grave Memorial #'s ( I.D.Numbers) with your requests, I will attempt to fulfill those requests. I want to emphasize I do not use the "Edit" provision, at this time, for any updates to entries I have originated and maintain.

Please note: If a subject photo is not completely clear, you can get that photo (shown as the acutal photo I submitted to Findagrave), by clicking on the "blurred" photo, which will then be clear, printable and quite suitable for use.

Thanks to all, in advance, for assisting me in this work. I really appreciate the many fine people that have become my friends through this association with Findagrave. To experience the harmonious, patient and co-operative nature of our worldwide informative site makes my participation very worthwhile and enjoyable. I will continue to try to make every day a beautiful day for each of us.

RE: transfer the memorial upon your request. Have a good day.
Wonderful message and bio sketch.

Unfortunately, without a FIND A GRAVE memorial id #, I have no idea what you are writing about--did I send you an obituary or an update?

I do not keep track of the suggested edits I submit.

Thanks for your continued work with memorials on the FIND A GRAVE website. All of us working together to remember our loved ones.

Request Transfer 2 memorials
Hi Bill,
I was not able to bring up my grandma's sister, Vivian Crossley Henning, this morning so I entered her and her husband Clarence Kenneth Henning. When I requested photos Arnold told me about your two memorials and gave me the numbers. Would you consider transferring these two memorials to me?
Vivian's # 43121903 Clarence's # 43121902
My numbers (undeleted as of yet) are 168361596 and 168361960
Thank you,

Memorial# 43057506 Sperry Basinger
Emily Sue #48143652 with a comment or question or even a transfer request if you would like me to be the dog on a bone on this.
I maintain the grave of his stepmother who is in the Howe ID cemetery. Today I had a call from a cousin asking if I could find Perry. A search of the Census reports finally led me to "Sperry". All the dates match, everything matches except the name on the stone. I have wonderful stories and pictures of Perry.
My questions-would you be willing to transfer "Sperry" Basinger and I will try to figure out why the Sperry not Perry; or would you like the information sent to you to deal with the ID death records, vets and the cemetery.
As a 30 year history teacher and current historical researcher, I love the research and the challenge. Perry was a WW I vet and taught my 80 yr old cousin to recite the Gettysburg address when he was 3. Great stories for an obit worthy of such a man. Every person deserves to have their life acknowledged. I am not related to him but my Idaho family knew him so well.I am anxious to hear from you. emily sue ps Working on contacting a distant kin

Alma William Short
I am hoping you would transfer Alma to me as he is a relative of mine. I was able to visit his mother and father's graves on Tuesday of this week. I would take very good care of him if you are not related to him too. Asking for Alma W. Short # 18640640 at Thatcher Cemetery in Thatcher Idaho. Anita # 46989264. Parents are Augustus # 54702218 and Maria Short # 54702135. Alma was born in Anaconda, Deer Lodge County, Montana.

Thank you. Anita

RE: Daughter Ellis
I am so grateful for Find A Grave and all that it does to preserve and share the memory of deceased loved ones, and connect them to their family members. It is a wonderful genealogy tool that welcomes input and feedback to complete the record. Thank you so much for your time and contribution to this wonderful effort. Occasionally in our family research we find missing pieces that complete the puzzle, and such is the case with Josie Marie Ellis, whose grave in the Lago Cemetery has been identified for all these years as Daughter Ellis, the infant daughter of George W Ellis, and his second wife, Susannah Trappett. The family was living nearby in Bench, so it makes sense that their daughter would have been buried in the same cemetery where George's first wife, Rebecca Wright Ellis, who died in childbirth was buried with her child. I would be happy to add this information to Find A Grave and maintain her page. What do I need to do? Thanks again for the wonderful work you do!
