Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Copley, Ohio. Now living in South Carolina. I have many relatives still in those parts. I don't mind helping others locate there loved ones, but please be patient. Maybe someday you can return the favour. I am chasing my ancestry and need help finding the next of kin. I am looking for John S Osborn. Born Abt 1790 in Connecticut??, died unknown time or date, but I believe it was probably New York State (Allegany County??)between 1850-1860. If you happen across any information, no matter how small, I ask that you please pass it along to me. I thank you in advance. Jeff

Osborn Family
Hi Jeff,

I'm looking for some Osborn information. I am the son of Alice E Parker (1920-1998) and Lewis F Turrill Jr (1923-1995) , mom was the daughter of Florence G Osborn (1899-1977), who was the daughter of Burton Edward Osborn (1874-1940).

You state that Florence was adopted. Do we know when where etc? What was her birth name? Same for her brothers.

Also I believe Florence was married numerous times. Besides Parker, I have vague information for a Craft (?) and a H.L. Paul (?). When I was young she was always referred to as Grandma Paul and I never knew why.

If you need info on any one that I can help fill in your blanks, let me know,

Jeff, I'd like to ask your permission to use the photo you took of Asa's grave on a website I'm putting together on Company F, 7th SC Cavalry and to use your name as photographer.
Thanks...Robin

RE: Fred Von Gunten
Sorry but it wasn't night when it was taken. LOL. I plan on another trip back to that cemetery and do some cleaning around the stones. Maybe then it will look better. I didn't have my "cemetery tools" with me that day.
