I'm a lifelong resident of Broken Arrow, OK. I seem to be a genealogist for all branches of my families - both on my side AND on my husband's. Some surnames I am tracing are Lee, Davis, Tinney, McClure, Croco, Colyott, Yandell, Cotner, Humble, Dickerson, Wiggins, and Cloyd. I am a member of D.A.R. and love doing research on my own family - and anyone else's! |
I am glad to have a part in sharing information on this website. I believe we owe a debt to those who have lived before us, and part of that is repaid by not allowing them to fade from memory. I am happy to do corrections and updates, and if you find a relative among those memorials I maintain, I am more than happy to transfer them to you, unless I am more closely related! For any updates or transfer requests, PLEASE use the link provided on the memorial to contact me.
Visiting so many cemeteries I am always saddened at the graves that are unadorned and seemingly forgotten. Those feelings inspired me to write the following. . .
I Will Remember
I know not how you came here –
only whether early in life or late.
Was your passing something expected,
or was the shock of it quite great?
Is there anyone left standing
who was witness to that day?
Or have they – along with the memories
they held of you - now all slipped away?
Although it's true that I never knew you,
And it's true that you never knew me -
I'll just stand here a quiet moment
hoping that somehow you will see.
Maybe I'm not a dear loved one
And it isn't quite the same - -
But I will pause to leave a small token
And I will remember your name.
-Janet Lee Davis
NOTE**** May 2012 - - I am part of a team that received management of Charlie Crocker's memorials in PARK GROVE CEMETERY in Broken Arrow.
Let me know if you have additional information on any of these memorials I hold there.

Thank you for fulfilling my photo request. Much appreciated.
Just tried sending you email but it didn't go through. Have been offline (computer crashed) two weeks ago. Now I'm really behind. Later

Hi, Janet! I'm not related. I find information out about people as I'm working on my mothers family tree. Most times I will find a family in my mothers family tree and then see if they are already in Find-A-Grave. Any information that I find along the way, I try to apply. By the way, my mothers maiden name was ROBERTS. I've been working on her family tree for 35 years.

Hi Janet! I'm not really related, I just work on my mothers family tree a lot. With the amount of time that I work on her family tree, I uncover information very often. Considering her family tree has (at last count) over 42000 individuals. Thanks for responding though.

Thanks for your hard work. Much appreciated... Sandi
|P Clark||RE: Patricia Ray Foster|
Patricia Ray Foster was my mother, my relative as are so many Foster's located in Floral Haven cemetery. I do not have a way with my type of scanner to crop the photos. If you have an easy way to make that happen on find a grave then I am open to suggestions.
