RE: Cedar Hill
I meant to mention that it appears that since Calvin Rash's grave is so new, no one has had the chance to have his death date etched into the gravestone.

On future photo requests for Cedar Hill I'll check the gravestone and once it's been done, I'll update the photos.

RE: Cedar Hill
I photograph the grave sites as well as the gravestones because if it where my relative or ancestor I would want to see the area where they are buried. It also helps people to find the graves should they be able to visit.

I always photograph the spouse and any nearby relatives in case they may also be requested. Often the requester doesn't know there are relatives buried in the same cemetery or perhaps were not even aware of their existence until they see my photographs.

It's my pleasure to be able to do this for others.

Bert Griffin grave
I do not find a grave in the Fortner gaveyard on Doe Branch. There is a Fortner grave yard on Big Pine. Do you know for sure Bert Griffin was buried in the Doe Branch grave yard in a unmarked grave site?

RE: Rector's cemeteries
Hi,

I've tried to reply a couple of times but the emails don't seem to be going through.

I'll make this one short. Last Saturday I surveyed the Frank Rector Cemetery and added over 20 new memorial pages.

You have written such kind words of appreciation. It is really quite a fulfilling experience for me and my daughter (my assistant, as she says).

Regarding David Reid Moore
Always glad to assist with photographs where ever possible and when it's a veteran it carries a special significance to me. All the best for the holidays.
