Paul Gentine
Hello, thanks for the note.
Actually, My entry is the correct entry because it was made in 2009 where the other was entered in 2012. I have sent a note to the creator of the 2012 memorial to have the deletion made.
I have added Mr. Gentine to the correct cemetery.

Kind regards, LBruns

Duplicate memorials
I wonder, do you think these are duplicate memorials?

Hazel K. Kelly and Hazel Minnie Kelly Henry

The dates of birth and death, and parentage, are identical. The memorial for Hazel Minnie Kelly Henry has a clear image of the tombstone for Hazel K Kelly.

However, it is clear from Hazel's obituary that she didn't marry and that she was neither born nor died in Onaga.

There is a Hazel Henry born about 1895, married to Clair Henry, living in Jewell Co, KS (1920, 1930 and 1940 censuses). From the years of marriage shown in the census you can deduce that they married about 1918.

Hazel Kelly is shown with her parents in Pottawatomie Co, KS, together with the brothers named in her obituary, on the 1920 census.

Jennie Fairbanks
Wow, thanks for the photo for Jennie Fairbanks so quickly! That was very nice of you. I appreciate it. BTW, did you happen to see who she was buried next to? She should be the wife of Samuel Rutherford Fairbanks. Thanks again. -- Colyn

RE: Havensville Cemetery, Deaver, Ellen Ruth
If you knew Charles and Myrtle, you may have heard of Velma and Emil Freienmuth. Those were my parents, and Velma was a Shortridge. Her father and Myrtle's mother were brother and sister.

I found Thomas Lester Deaver in His family apparently moved to Washington state between 1930 and 1940 (I found his family in both censuses), and sometime later, he moved to California. He died in Mendocino, CA in 1983. Didn't see a burial place; just found this info right after I got your message.

I also am a KU fan; graduated there in 1960.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your grave marker and/or cemetery photos on my family website. Check it out at This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Thank you.
