I have been working on the "Bowers Family History" since it was passed on to me by my late father Bobby E. Bowers as a work in progress. I was involved in a course of study in Field Archaeology and Anthropology at the time at found the study of my own family history interesting. I am a practiced photographer; it goes along with Field Archaeology as a tool of the science. I find that the older pre 1900 monuments provide the greatest challenge and I have developed my own "bag of tricks" from working in Archaeology to bring about the best results.
