Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing Genealogy for over 15 years. My mother started my searching and it was so interesting, I've just kept going.

Alot of the "Memorials" I have added are not related to me. If you find your family in my additions please let me know, I will be happy to transfer ownership of the online Memorial over to you. I will need your Member Profile Number, when you contact me. I think it's IMPORTANT, that way you do not have to ask someone else to change or edit the memorial, you can care for it yourself. Most of my Obituaries that I have added to a memorial are from the SOUTHWEST TIMES RECORD, of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Also if I have taken photo's of your family and you would like the original pictures, please let me know. I keep photos for a while after taking them. All I ask is when you message me or email me, to please put in the NAME of the PERSON you are wanting photo's or ownership of, and the NAME of the CEMETERY. Thank You! and God Bless!!

Athal Newton
Hi Carlene! Thanks for all you do. Findagrave project has been SO much help with genealogy over the last decade. It gives those of us who cannot travel a new dimension in research.

I'm writing today to see if you have any information on record 35571035 for Athal Newton. It says "daughter of J.I. Newton and S.E. Newton" You have John Isaac Newton as her father. There is a John Isaac Newton, but his wife was Susan Rebecca (Pendergrass) Newton. Similarity is they had a daughter listed as E.J. born in the same year 1859. E.J. is listed as Jane the next year but through the next 2 census with John and Susan, there is no child listed as Athal and no other children born in 1859. There are also no records at all in for an Athal Newton. E Jane disappears after the 1880 Census. I'm wondering if they got her name wrong and maybe it was Ethel (Jane) instead of Athal. If they got that wrong, they could easily have gotten her mother's middle initial wrong also. Just trying to see if you had information that linked her to John Isaac and Susan or if it was just based on inscription. I hate to bother you but I really want to get it right if possible. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

John Isaac & Susan R Newton were my GGG Grandparents.

Again, your work is greatly appreciated! I can't wait to retire and start walking photographing cemeteries. Hope you leave me some by then! :)

RE: Steep Hill Gravestone Cleaning Project
Yes, it was March 29th. We got a lot done. The moss was pretty thick on a good number. Sorry you missed. I want you to know how much I appreciate all of the Find A Grave work you've done!

Steep Hill Gravestone Cleaning Project
Hello Carlene. I know you have documented several graves at Steep Hill Cemetery and wanted to let you know that volunteers are being sought to clean gravestones on March 29th (if raining/April 5th). Many have significant moss. If you are in the area and would like to participate, the information is on the cemetery's FB page:

Thanks for the great work!

RE: Thomas McDaniel

Maybe the third time's a charm. I sent it, again and it hasn't bounced back! I'd check your "Spam" folder...just in case.

Hi, Carlene

I don't like to advertise my e-mail address on this public message system. One never knows who's going to use it for whatever reason. Sorry. Are you a member of Ancestry?
