My grandparents as well as my mother used to take me to Parkhill cemetery in Columbus GA as a child. We always stopped to feed the ducks before leaving so the cemetery was always a place that brought a smile to my face. The older headstones typically give a bit of insight of who is there which I find interesting. I now live in Auburn but frequent Columbus so I take pictures in both locations. The family I am related to are the David, Land, Taylor, McCrory, Nickens, Smallwood, Lester and Lokey. My husband's family are Kimbrough, Cannon, Ruff and Baxter.

RE: Clyde Kimbrough
I would appreciate the pictures. I have been trying to get in contact with someone who has a plot map of Auburn Memorial Cemetery or at least knows who is buried where. There are always photo requests popping up for that cemetery, but the only way I've been able to find anyone is by searching the entire cemetery.

Clyde Kimbrough
Do you remember where in Auburn Memorial Park Clyde Kimbrough's grave is located? I am looking for the grave of his wife Nell.

I'm assuming Benjamin Johnston is her husband. Anything you can tell me about this family?

Thanks.

Smallwood Plot - Rosemere Cemetery - Opelika, AL
Hello, Do you know anything about the P. C. Masters 1854-1880 that is buried with your family in the Smallwood plot? I took a pic of his stone & will post. Would you like him transferred to you?
