I live in Oregon and started my genealogy hobby in 1976. That lasted for less than a year, and then I started again in the winter of 1998. I'm not a professional, but monitor, and have volunteered to answer some easy questions and requests for Multnomah County, Oregon, at GenForum and RootsWeb. I'm a member of the Genealogical Forum of Oregon, in Portland.|

I treat each headstone photo with the same care as mom did for the annual family Christmas card for relatives and friends. We all had to look our best, had several photos taken, and she chose the best photo for the card. I try to give you the best photo possible. I know how important it is to be able to read all the text on the headstone, especially if you are the family genealogist, looking for a name for an initial, a date you don't have, or the name of a spouse or child.
Find A Grave allows space for 5 photos to be loaded on each memorial for free. Therefore, I try not to upload more than 2-3 grave marker photos so there is room for you to load photos of family and documents. If you need more room for photos, please contact me and ask me to remove a photo so you have more room.
If anyone would like to use any of my grave marker photos, please contact me for permission.
Regarding requests for transferring memorials I've created, but are not in my family, please contact me, and include your member name and member number.

Thank you so much for the picture. I think pictures add so much to the family tree. Would it be all right if I add the picture to my Ancestry tree? Again thank you very much.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for trying to locate her headstone - always a challenge when the graves aren't marked.

Many thanks for the Burch marker photos, and for creating the memorial for Ollie Burch. They look great, as usual. We've had beautiful weather lately, hope your photo trips to the cemetery were pleasant.

Thank you so much for the photo! I meant to take it myself the last time I was in Portland, but then I didn't get the chance, and I don't know when I'll be back. I really appreciate it!

Jan, thank you for the great photos of the Young's Gravestones in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
May I have your permission to use them in their Family Tree, with credit to you?
Thank you for your time,
