Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in the Wesley Chapel Community. My father, TommieJohnson is buried in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. I still miss him. I would like to thank everyone who has left a flower on his memorial. He was a wonderful man. My greatgrandmother Anne Lightfoot,is buried in Widnes, England. She passed away not long after my Mother came to Texas.

I am also the ggggrandaughter of Captain Samuel Harrison Bowen, and also James Jennings. Who both lived when the Tea Party first sprang into action. I am a member of The Houston County Historical Commission located in the Courthouse Annex in Crockett.

I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Marty Cash, a Fallen Graver, who dearly loved The Houston County Historial Commission, was dedicated heart and soul to recording Houston County Cemeteries, was my mentor. Please visit her memorial page and leave her a flower. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever. My only intention is to create a HISTORICAL RECORDING of those who are "Gone, but not Forgotten" before their tombstones are lost forever. This is copied from a fellow graver: "Get out and photograph memorials while they are still readable. This site is primarily for GRAVE photos not genealogy, preserve those memories that are quickly fading."

Genealogy, begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation and in the last stages, is an incurable disease.

For those who wonder about such things, when the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created , this is due to a few members who decided to transfer their memorials to multiple findagrave contributors . . . and I was honored to be one of the contributors trusted to look after some of those memorials.

FROM THE FAQS:
How do I clean a headstone or grave marker?
Unless you are related to the interred on the headstone in question, DO NOT do anything to the headstone.

I am happy to share ANYTHING that I post. I have no crazy rules, My pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. I take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for my ego or for the "numbers."

Be kind to one another because - One day we will all be, 'just a name' etched in stone. "Nothing is ended until it is Forgotten."

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on Findagrave!)

Flowers & poem TY, TY
Carol you are a blessing to my life. Thanks so much for the lovely flower & poem tribute to my Uncle Burrell Baxter whom recently passed.

You are the first person who had done that on my Memorials, that I am aware of. Thanks so much. You just are one special lady!

Merry Christmas, Hugs,

Part 2
My confusion is I am looking for Kathryn Eloyce and I followed the flower, that said, "Kathy" hoping to find Kathryn Eloyce. I was on John Neal "Buddy" Powell, (Find A Grave) Find A Grave Memorial# 114600286.

It is a part of my family! Then when I clicked on Kathy- it took me to your awesome BIO for Carol Hoch was Johnson! I expected to find a Fleming or a Powell.

Can you enlighten me please. I sure could use the input lol!

Thanks so much, If you want to do it privately. Goats3geez@aol.com is my email- let me know who ya are in subject please.

Have a blessed week, Merry Christmas.

Wow! I am impressed!
I came to you in confusion to ask a few questions and I found a unrelated "Goldmine"!

This impresses me greatly, due to having made, paid for sponsorship and been in mid stream making my Memorials of our loved ones- just to have them high jacked, stolen and leaving is with NO ACCESS and given to someone else whom had a NON WORKED UP MEMORIAL DUP for over 2 years! One was given back to access but the other wasn't and it was more of a response like _"Tough luck Charlie" attitude sends us info an WEEEE will do it! I won't do that now!

I spent a week composing a letter of what happened, and how and giving many suggestions and was just sloughed off! I tried 3 times to send a copy to Ancestry because they too are a part of the troubles and was given 2 bogus emails! Asked Find A Grave to send them a copy, since Ancestry owns Find A Grave and to date have not heard a word from Ancestry!

You with your BIO said it a lot shorter than my letter but said what most the trouble on Find A Grave issssss!

Thanks you for your inspiration, common sense and love for fellow man, as Jesus left us one commandment in the New Testament! JUST ONE! "Love one." I do not feel that love up here on Find A Grave by staff or several of the Find A Grave Contest Participants for Find A Grave! Sadly the ones I have had the most trouble with-- I found I am RELATED TOO! Makes me so proud to meet undesirable family, I never knew existed, and be treated in an undesirable non-loving way! Lol!

Have a Merry Christmas and God Bless you and yours and thanks for being like GOD made you!
Loving, sharing and caring and treating mankind well!

RE: Mrs Bryson Davis
Mrs. Byson Davis was Mary Frances "Frankie" Allen.
I sent this information to manager of memorial a
couple years ago and never received an answer.
There is currently a name edit request for her
memorial by Bettie Sarver.

I think Erie's name may have possibly been Eran or
at least part of her name... Byrson had a sister
named Lourchy Eran Davis.
